  1. I got atleast one of those a day when I sold the Subaru, Clayton. One will ask for Paypal info, others ask for address to send a check to, blah blah blah. It's why I LOATHE selling anything of decent value.
  2. Lets talk about some peoples fancy "I took a drill bit to my Planos" I practiced on a old 3600 and put 2 holes per compartment. Turned out pretty good. Did some of you measure out holes made it perfect or just freehanded it?
  3. Its all about confidence. Like you said. To each his own. I run 10lb pp on my finesse spinning rod, 15lb Flouro on my TRig/jig rod, 10lb Big Game on my crankbait, 6lb InvisiX on my Dropshot/Shakeyhead rod. I have confidence I wont break off a fish using any of them. If I check my line and use each around its intended area.
  4. I run 65# braid on my Frog/jig rod. I fish gnarley mossbeds, milfoil, and coontail. Ive pulled up huge clumps of vegetation over a 3lb fish that I thought would snap my heavy stick.
  5. Got a million dollars?
  6. We had a 5 minute sprinkle this morning. Little over a week and a half no rain..... DROUGHT! !!!!!!!
  7. Jeff, my friend, guess you are lacking common sense. Might need to send a PM to someone before making another decision.
  8. Ive had many dreams, some have already came true. Bowl a 300, CHECK! Bowl a 800 Series, not yet. Catch a Double Digit, Nope Marry a awesome woman and make an awsome family, Check. Catch a 5lb Smallie, Nope. Buy a Bassboat, in the Garage. Alot of my dreams are small. Can I achieve all of them? I hope.
  9. Ouch Blue. Thats a tough one. I like Sams suggestion.
  10. Ill bring some Burgers and get the wife to make PB Choc. Chip Cookies again.
  11. Guess Im not one of those that sees the humor. If someone has the gall to offer a service, then they better know what they are doing. If they dont, bet your butt Ill call them out on it, and try to protect others in the future as well as reimburse my property.
  12. Ive seen one done on a bicep, like the skin was ripped, and multicolored pieces underneath. If I had big arms, Id like it.
  13. After my Murray took a poop, we was about to move, and my neighbor, who was a 70 year old retired teacher, gave me her old Craftsman. Said it wouldnt start one day, and she put it up. Since, her son cut grass for her using his sweet Honda mower. Well I put fresh gas, plug, oil, and air filter on that old Craftsman, fired right up, and has been going strong for 5 years now.
  14. My youngest, Cameron, is on the Autism Spectrum. She's been trying to come up with something that she liked. Well she came up with it this week.
  15. When I quit cold turkey, my surreal dream was not coughing, and weezing when I laid down. My son was outside one chilly morning before school, had a crayon between his fingers, seeing his breath, he took a puff off the crayon. That was the deciding factor for me. Find your motivation, you will quit and quit for good.
  16. You won't, aquaholic, And those things you can find in the grocery store, Canned Boiled Peanuts, is a injustice.
  17. Man, I remember driving through NC/VA and seeing those peanut fields. Nothing beats a good Roasted Peanut. Reminds me of watching the Greenville Braves as a kid with my dad.
  18. You are right, there isn't a degree for knife sharpening, there also isn't a degree for taking a reel apart and lubing it. So if a employee offered to lube up my Zillion, and then couldn't get it back together, or put it back together wrong, or ruined it, then I should just turn the other cheek and not bring it to the attention to anyone? It very well could have been an honest mistake, but for someone working in the knife department, NOT know what a serration is, is hard to believe.
  19. Glad to hear it's all coming out and going to work out. Growing up in Westminster, I never really had a problem with theft. Heck, my dad, to this day, leaves his house unlocked and sometimes the front door open when he does to town.
  20. Use the cheap stuff. Natty Light on has to serve a purpose some how. Definately wouldnt waste a New Glarus on it!! Spotted Cow..... Yummmmmm
  21. Try boiling them in beer. Growing up in Upstate SC, there are a few things you can always count on. Fresh Veggies/Fruits on the side of the road, Boiled Peanut Stands (that also made fresh meat skins), Gaffney's giant peach/water tower, and firework stands. My dad has even perfected making jelly out of the dreaded kudzu (well the blossoms of the kudzu).
  22. Not just a knife. Its either someone that isnt qualified to do a job, or some one maliciously damaging property. If he cant do the job then they should move him to another position. At my job, there are people just like that. Do I want them fired? No, but get them to a position where they can thrive and not cost the business money.
  23. I just sent off my Kershaw for blade replacement. Man, I love that little thing, used it more than I realized. I bet I've reached for it a dozen times.
  24. No pictures, don't write anything down, deny deny deny.
