Using Chatterbait>>>>>>>>>
I just got some of Bluebasser86's bladed jigs, and they are fantastic! I can't wait to use them in the spring. Rage Tail menace grubs, and keitech fat swing impacts will be my trailers of choice!

Cold Smallies
I throw them on outside edges of a deep pool on a river feeding into Lake Erie. I let it soak for some time, and small hop to another rest. Any feel of a thump and I swing for the fences. Sometimes it's a catfish or a sheephead. Other times you get a certain shake, and you know an angry bronzeback took your hook.

Cold Smallies
Hair jigs work really well as do smaller jerkbaits.

Jackall Binksy?
Any additional feedback? I just got one in an order. It's a beautiful finish.

Best Jig/texas Rig Combo For Under $100
If you live by any Dick's Sporting Goods stores I would go in to see if they have any Shimano Crucial rods. They should be on clearance for $42. You can find a reel for $60ish like the Daiwa Lexa through some online retailers. This would blow the Promax combo out of the water.

New Pixy On The Way... Line Choice?
For some time this summer I used 30# Smackdown w/8# Invisix as a leader. Now I just run straight 6# fluorocarbon. Enjoy your pixy. They are a remarkable little reel!

New Revo Sx For $18.57
So, you really paid $139 for the reel not $18.57.

Benefits Of U40?
If for no other reason than to have a project to do during the winter months it's completely worth it. As the others have stated it really does help keep the cork cleaner, and the jar lasts for many applications. I'm guessing several hundred applications at the rate I'm going through it. If cleaning old cork don't forget to use the Arm and Hammer magic eraser!

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
You obviously don't have too much tackle since you don't have that BBZ 1 ratio, yet.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
The bait monkey found its way into my wallet this week on a few occasions. Monday was 5 of the Crucial rods at Dick's for $42. Then on Tuesday I had to place an order at TW for some items like Tatsu line, Jackall Binsky, and 3 Boze Sumo frogs. When I saw the site the next day the Boze frogs we marked down to $1.98. They kindly provided me a rebate in the form of a gift certificate. That got spent the following day for 15 packs of Wave Tiki worms, 3 of the War Eagle Twin arm spinnerbaits, 2 spools of Sunline Super Natural 14# line, and 4 more of the Boze Sumo frogs. Now, I can officially start saving money towards some reels - Daiwa SS SV, or some of the PXL-R's that on on sale. The bait monkey can leave me alone for a while.

My Week Of Deals

I've Got A Problem
If you buy more lures you can then spend time reorganizing. When you reorganize you find out there is something else you need/wanted. Just happened to me with some Jackall Binskys and every color of Boze Sumo frogs when they went on sale at that warehouse place.

Px-R. Why So Cheap
I hear you, buddy. Part of me says to get the SS SV to continue on with my collection, but the other part of me loves my PXL-R so much it says to get another.

Px-R. Why So Cheap

Which One Of These Casts The Farthest
Distance casting has more to do with the user than it does with the reel itself, IMHO. Remember, there is such a thing as casting so far that you don't get a good hook set.

Px-R. Why So Cheap
I think it's 26" IPT.

Px-R. Why So Cheap
I agree with it being worth getting. I bought one at the beginning of this year and never once regretted my decision. While the T3 Air looks like a heckuva reel, there's still something special about the Pixy frame that makes me hope they'll try to introduce an updated version on that platform.
