3D Printing Fishing Lures
I've been fascinated by 3D printing machines since the first time I saw one in a magazine article (I think Popular Science) many years ago. With the cost of these printers starting to become "affordable" do you think you would ever get to the point of printing your own lures?

Just Bought ( 2) Veritas Rods Off Ebay
Good deal. They are light, but stiff. I use my 7'0" MH/F for a frog rod.

Insert Vs Insert-Free Tungsten Weights
I've never used one with the insert, and never had any problems.

Is Powerfishing Relatively New?
I consider "power fishing" to be techniques that require me to be constantly reeling in - crankbaits, spinnerbaits, etc. I consider "finesse fishing" to be presentations that do not require me to impart most of the needed action - dropshot, senkos, etc. I don't believe it has to be determined by the actual size of the lure being used.

The Px R Is Here!!
Yes, it is, but a px-r already has the upgrades included out of the box. That is my understanding.

You can put some electrical on the bottom of the spool instead of using backing. You won't take up any spool space.

Protocol On Random Draw Tournaments
If he needs help netting a fish and asked you for it then you should help him out. Just like if you were in his position you would hope he helps you out in the same situation. I may ask the boater what lure/color he is using, but I personally would never ask him to use it. It's not his responsibility, but often times I've had them offer me a particular lure if they see me struggling. Just my $0.02

12Lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid The Right Line?
Yes, it will work just fine. I've actually been using 10# (breaks at 16#) for the last 2 years and never had an issue.

The Px R Is Here!!
One thing I can't suggest enough is to physically put the reel on to any rod you are looking to buy with it. It is so lightweight that I had some trouble finding a rod that it balanced well on. I found (for me and how I fish) that a 6'6" MH/F rod paired exceptionally well. In my case I chose a Duckett MicroMagic. Good luck with your decisions! Any make sure to post a picture when you figure it out.

The Px R Is Here!!
Congratulations! I got mine at the beginning of this year, and understand what you mean about it loosening up after several turns of the handle. I took mine to my local tackle shop for a quick cleaning and it came back buttery smooth. These reels are much more versatile than I had thought, too. During the season I did everything with it from small finesse worms, dropshot, squarebills, and even frogs with 30# braid. Never once did I think that the reel was being under powered. Right now though since most of my other reels are also able to handle everything short of the finesse plastics that is what I am going to use it for moving forward. I had some of my best fishing days when I was using it with 8# Invisix, a 1/0 worm hook, and zoom finesse worms with an unpegged 1/8oz weight.

If you ever decide to part ways with that TD-X rod feel free to let me know. Great dropshot rod. Lost mine to the bottom of Lake Erie.

What Happened To The Booyah Boogee Bait?
I haven't seen them in stores in about 2 years, and that was when DSG was clearing them out of their inventory for under $2. I'm thinking that they discontinued as their website (as shown by the link from Weld's Largemouth) is for the 1/8oz pond crasher size, and not 3/8oz size.

Jika Rig Presentation
I started playing around with it this year, and it's worked well enough. I find myself using it the most with crawfish baits. Owner makes a good one with a tungsten weight, but I've also made my own with bell sinkers I use for deeper water.

One Album For The Rest Of Your Life?
For me, I would have to say that the album would be the Grateful Dead's "Europe '72". A very close second place would be Alice In Chain's album, "Dirt".

Voss makes great lead dropshot weights. They have a cylindrical weight that's curved like a banana. Those are my favorites.

What's Your Favorite Rod And Reel You Have?
My Daiwa PXL-R on a 6'6" MH/F Duckett MicroMagic. This became my default combo this year for pitching zoom finesse worms. It was a fantastic year.

I'd say it's about a 1 to 1.5 pounder. As Catt stated, "Compare his fist to the bass's head"

Strike King Rage Blade Vs. Z-Man Chatterbait
The rage blade loves to raise up the water column, and unless you reel in painfully slow it's harder to keep on the bottom.
