  1. They make good stuff. The ugly otter is a really good creature bait.
  2. Here's what I've been working on. I've got a few Lews baitcasters, and some spinning gear in the closet. Pictured: Daiwa PXL-R on a G. Loomis GL2, Daiwa Alphas Ito 103L on a Tatula rod, and 2 Daiwa Zillion 100HSL reels on Duckett Micro Magic rods.
  3. Bill Dance because he is funny as all get out. Aaron Martin for his demeanor. KVD for his overall awesomeness.
  4. Culprit Invisi-craw!
  5. For $109, and free shipping, you can grab a Daiwa T3 Ballistic at Tackle warehouse. This reel is head and shoulders above the ones that you have listed.
  6. No question about it! You are getting a nifty little reel for $109 in the T3.
  7. I just got the Tatula and it's an impressive rod for $150. I will be buying more.
  8. I think a combination of the flash and the green material of my couch gave the rod a blueish hue. It's black, gray, and gold accents. After having a chance to play around with it last night (pitching a practice plug into the snow) I would say that it's as light as a Duckett rod, and as sensitive as my g.loomis GL2. I know this is subjective, and may not mean much of an explanation to anyone that hasn't handled the rods I mentioned. Just trying to give a comparison against what I own.
  9. I just bought a spool of 40lbs. I'll try to give a detailed report at the end of the season.
  10. I bought 2 about a year and a half ago, and I really like them. They work for how I fish, and are comfortable in my hands. The 20 year warranty is assuring should I have an issue.
  11. They come up from time to time, and I just happened to have the cash when it popped up in the garage sale forum last weekend.
  12. I just got the 7' M and I'm really impressed with mine, too. It's very light,, and the finish is great. I'm putting an Alphas Ito 103L on mine. I'm excited to throw some rattle traps!
  13. quote name="buckeye_bass66" post="1465760" timestamp="1393735675"] Anybody know anything about Rushcreek's 10H.P limit? Rushcreek is about 10 miles east of Somerset in Perry County. Got a 150 Mercury on the back of my boat and I have no clue if I can drop my engine and just idle instead of killing my battery trolling to get half way across the lake
  14. Daiwa Zillion 100HSL Daiwa PXL-R Daiwa alphas ito 103L Now I need to find the rods for these beauties.
  15. Newer isn't always better. I picked up a round reel this winter as I felt it was a better choice for using with swimbaits because of more line capacity.
  16. I don't know, but I started seeing many online retailers slash prices at the end of summer and I stocked up on my colors.
  17. I agree with the suggestion of using the Bite Me tube jigs, and like J Francho said start with a 1/2oz. Otherwise, I t-rig my tubes with a 3/16oz tungsten weight and the Trokar tube hooks for all shallow water fishing.
  18. Is it any different than people going out and buying the latest shoes worn by LeBron, Kobe, or any other athlete?
  19. I got a chance to hold them in my hand this weekend. No thanks. I told my buddy these will end up in the clearance bin soon enough. I just don't see a benefit, and for $15 I'd rather buy Lucky Craft.
  20. Cliff bars, beef jerky, and Gatorade.
  21. Business Development manager for a Chiropractic medical supply distribution company.
