Line Recomendation?
If you look around you can find some great deals on larger spools of line. I picked a 1lb spool (5800 yards) of 10# yo-zuri hybrid for just under $30. I mostly fish with lipless cranks and spinnerbaits, so for me I felt like I won the lottery!

Live Target Cranks For 2.98
Dicks does have great clearance sales. I got some Terminator spinnerbaits for $1.99 in several colors at the end of summer. I'm close to three of them as well and will make a weekly sweep through them for any great deals. I've gotten the havoc pit boss and subwoofer for 97 cents recently, too!

What's With All The Rage About Rage Tail?
After reading this thread I went out and bought two packs of the Craws, and also ordered two packs of the shad. I got to throw the craw in the water and was stunned by the action. Even when I left it alone the appendages were moving. I was reluctant to believe the hype, but now I'm a believer! Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. I can't wait to see what new things are being developed!

Jig Traliers

Glow-In-The-Dark
I've seen various plastics offered as "glow-in-the-dark." Does this actually help, or is it more for catching us the angler.

Suggestions Needed For Beginner's Baitcaster...
I was a first time convert to baitcasting this past year, and got the entry level Lew's speed spool. My local tackle shop let me try it, and a few others in the $100 price range out in the parking lot, and was the happiest with the Lew's. Great quality, easy use, and very smooth. Good luck with your choice!

What Type Of Line For Winter Weather In The North?
This is why I'm asking. I was fishing yesterday, and one rod had mono the other had braid. The braid froze rigid, and the mono was looping up. Should I use a line conditioner? Does that stuff work?

4 Lures Only!
Same here. I don't leave home without a war eagle spinner!

What Type Of Line For Winter Weather In The North?
I'm in Ohio, and was wondering if one type of line mono, flouro, braid is best for temps at or below freezing? Does it matter?

Lure Modifications...hard Baits Or Soft Plastics
I've never thought of this. Thanks! I'm going to try this the next time out.

Lure Modifications...hard Baits Or Soft Plastics
For buzzbaits I will chew up the back edges of the blades. I've even drilled holes in the blades to make more noise. I also make sure to smash down the collar just in front of the blades. I've found this help create a squeaking sound as the blade spins. On spinnerbaits I'm not producing with I'll swap out blades and skirts. With jigs I thin out the weed guards, and trim them down to just above the hooks point.

One Strength You Have That Many Others Don't
I never stop having fun. Even on days I get skunked and don't even get a nibble I still say that "I caught a good time."

Storing Tackle
I keep the bags in the side pockets of my tackle bag. I can fit about 10 bags in each pocket.

Help Me Break Away From Rapalas
These are the only crankbaits I use, and can cover anywhere along the water column with them. I was exclusively using the bill lewis rat-l-traps's, but just came across the cotton cordell brand for $2 and don't see much of a difference. For the squarebill cranks I'm not too specific on the brand.

You can find the Veritas in the $70 range if you look around. I've got one and a Premier and use the Veritas much more.
