Hows The Bait Monkey Treating Everyone
I have a hot date with the bait monkey this Saturday. We're going to make visits to Jann Net craft, Bass Pro Shops, and Cabelas. I may file a temporary restraining order.

Favorite Trailer For Spinnerbaits
I have these, but never use them on a spinnerbait. I do however use them on a buzzbait.

Do You Have A Lucky Song?
I will usually start my days of fishing by listening to the Grateful Dead. No one particular song or album, but almost always a live bootleg.

"chatterbait" Type Baits
The booyah has much more vibration, but the bendable shaft is maddening. I still fall back on the zman chatterbaits. Black & blue, and chartreuse are the 2 colors to get. Sharpen the hooks, and use a different trailer.

For All The Northerners Stuck In The Snow
What lure(s) have you bought over the winter time that you're most excited to throw once your area thaws out? For me it's the following: - Megastrike Strike Back spinnerbait - Rage Toad - Dahlberg Diving Frog

It is more the weather holding me back than work.

Presentation Speed
I mostly use a steady retrieve, but will mix in a pause after giving a sweeping pull in the line. I let the spinnerbait fall for a 5 count, and start the retrieve again. I will also burn them back keeping the spinnerbait just under the surface. Sometimes even keeping my rod tip up a little more to have the top blade just break the surface. This works well in the warmer days of summer for me.

What Combo To Get For 2013! Under 300$
Great post! I'm considering a new setup in this price range as well. I've been looking at the 13 fish *** rod. I've read fantastic things about it. Thinking about pairing it with the Revo S, or Lew's heavy duty. I'm looking to add a flipping/pitching setup.

Spring Fishing
It's an all year lure for me! Size, color, and retrieve will vary based on the time of year.

How To Prevent Backlash
The best thing I did was to learn to feather my cast with my thumb instead of relying on the brakes.

Of these two choices the pond magic is better, IMHO.

How I Organize My Worms (Shower Curtain Holders)
Yep. The zipper style sandwich bags are great for them. The zipper style is easy to open and close with wet hands.

This Lake Always Gets Me...
I know it's been a few months since you posted this, but I just saw it and thought I'd give you some advice. Clint C. made some good suggestions, and those are in fact great places. Actually, staying near the end of Lake Milton where the dam is located is the best option. The steep banks and rip rap found along the banks provide a great habitat. I would also suggest you go to the points on the map marked by the bobber symbol. The ODNR does a decent job of pointing out places where fish are typically caught for shore anglers. Hope this works for you if you make it back there in the spring.

Uses For 65# Braid...
I'd start off using mono until you get the hang of it. Braid is more difficult to fix if you backlash. Once you can cast with the mono move on to the braid.

Rain Gear
I use a frogg toggs jacket and pants. I got the set for under $75. It's comfortable, and light weight.

Spinnerbaits
I hardly use either on smaller inland lakes. A trailer hook if I'm fishing Lake Erie.

Can I Use A Palomar Knot With Yo-Zuri Hybrid?
I love the trilene knot, too. It's worked great for all types of line. What ever knot you decide to use make sure you moisten it before tightening!
