I've kept a log the past 4 years in a regular paper notebook. I usually include: lake fished, date, temp, wind direction/speed, water temp, number of fish caught, fish size, area/spot on lake that fish were caught, lure(s) used, and then usually a small write up of the day overall and any specifics that I feel were important to my success or lack of.

Frog man is right on I'm fishing the Dakotas. I'm lucky to live fairly close to a few good lakes open to bass 365. every lake I fish in MN is still 75-95% ice covered.

Nothing big but it sure felt good to hit some open water and bend a rod. Getting to spend a day on the water with the Wife and dog made it all the better. Ice out was just a few days ago.

Nice group of baits right there. Add a gill bait to the mix when you get the chance and you'll be golden. Matt's U2 is great. Thats what i'll be fishing all year until I can get my hands on a Hardgill.

I'm from MN and I call them fairy wands. I usually only carry 1 or 2 spinning outfit in my boat and use them as a last resort. Most bass guys I know have more baitcasters than spinning setups.

I'm not a big fan of SK but I do like the 1.5 and 2.5. The bluegill pattern caught me a ton of fish last year.

Their line thru trout has been a big hit with the swimbait guys. Judging by all the bass pics posted on other forums they are legit.
