  3. stick marsh would be my go to lake at anytime of the year. just slow down in summer, fish early or at night if it's to hot.
  4. my friends wife 20 plus years ago, when they were first dating went out and she stuck a Zara Spook in his head.then about 2 months later she was trying to get a worm unstuck from a tree and when it let loose the bullet weight went in his forearm. but wait there's more. she also stuck him in the groin with a Trap on the backcast. it was a heck of a wedding though.......

  6. like Catt, I also use a hand controlled trolling motor. for me it's about control. have tried foot models but love a hand control model better. it's what works for me.

  12. bomber long a, husky jerk- pretty much does it all for me. jerk jerk pause,sometimes really hard twitches with the rod. let the fish tell ya how they want it.
  13. use em all the time,just like Catt, skirts,twin tail grubs,or just by itself.great cold water bait.don't forget to sharpen that hook.
  14. yes they work.I have an 18" ranger r80 with a 150 on it and it jumps on plane so fast.stays on plane at slower speeds and handles better in corners at speed. would highly recommend one to anyone. I'm not getting paid to say this either...

    primetime said it best when he says go to Bitters. you can spend hours just in the plastic section, I go there 4-5 times a year.

    been using Gamblers for years and have no problem catching more than 6-8 fish before changing out. also using owner twist locks they are great for swimbaits. use heavier gauge wire model. if screw locks won't work try using Gamblers swim bait hooks or Owner's rigid hooks. they are a little shorter but are really stout.
  17. Baitmaker makes the best wood lures I have ever used.and he's right here on this forum.
  18. gambler 7 inch ribbon tail, texas rigged.weight depended on conditions,3/0 hook. best producer this summer,hands down.
  19. just built my first Eternity2. love it. have been using MHX blanks for years and will probably use more Rainshadows from now on.Very nice blank.
  20. caught a Rattle Trap,it was attached to a 7" St. Croix mojo rod with a Bass Pro Qualifier reel. all in perfect condition. did I say it was 3 days after Christmas? I think someone lost a new gift.
  21. I am Ranger guy,20years now. if I was looking at an aluminium boat Crestliner is what I would probably go with. then a Ranger.if price is a concern look for a good one a couple of years old. save quite a bit of coin that way.
