  2. you will love that reel, have the same one and it is so smooth, not the lightest but you can't beat it. BTW....great price !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. anywhere you can find submerged cover seems to work for me,grass beads, shell beads. here in florida 7-10 feet is deep so we gotta cast and reel………………..FAST.
  4. I use the Orra 2nd generation for pitching/flipping. aluminum frame light, good drag. love em. have 4 of them.
  5. I have about 50 of these cobra's they work great when using bass assassin shads, flukes, gambler swim baits. keeps the bait from sliding down when casting or coming through heavy grass.
  6. find a stik it anchor, small portable depth finder. also get the best battery you can, you'll find yourself using it more than you think. I use my brothers all the time, don't even think he knows it's not at his house anymore !!!!!!!!
  7. will be giving a report on TOHO this weekend. fishing in a benefit tourney. helping with weigh in also so I can get some info from some of the fisherman that I know. btw Disney has some awesome places to fish. you just gotta ask where they will let you.
  8. WOW !!!!!!! just wow.
  9. spooks are the coolest baits to use. sometimes they will just suck it under, other times they crash the hell out of it.
  10. ditto……………same things going on over here on the east coast at some of the ponds I fish. small buzz bait works real good also.
  11. I made one out of one of those flexible signs that have a flag on it. took the solid fiberglass tip and epoxied it and it's about 4 1/2 foot. lightweight, sticks real good and was free.
  12. 10 lb. power pro. original. small diameter, same as 2 lb. mono. cast's a mile use it on all my spinners. sometimes will use a clear mono leader if the water is gin clear. but most of the time no leader. works for me
  13. all of my reels are abu's and have never had a problem with abu's customer service. they always go above and beyond for me.
  14. send pics.does it have a serial num. or a vin?
  15. I've got lures that haven't seen the light of day in 30 years. I know I have a problem, but I don't have to many lures. that's what my therapist tells me. he likes to fish to………………..seriously keep what works for you and some that you want to work on and purge the rest.
  16. soft jerk bait. bass assassin, gambler, etc.
  17. gambler 7" ribontail worm. gambler burner craw and burner worm. bass assassin 5" shad. all colors any color
  18. they are great boats. we used to have a small boat tourney series in Brevard county years ago and 75% of the boats were gheenoes. it helps that they are made in Titusville. but you can rig em any way you want, super stable. fished out a couple of em and like em a lot.
  19. I'm an abu man,but I would go with the Lews from the list you have.
  20. yes in Melbourne.
  21. FAT MAX is an awesome worm, easy to cast weightless,or even for flipping.
  22. tried something today that I haven't done in a long time 15-20 years. went out this morning and the wind was howling.couldn't get bit for about 30 minutes, weather has been an issue since the hurricane blew through. high pressure one minute then fronts coming through the next. so I thought about something that I used to do as a kid. I tied on a weightless 3" charlie brewer grub and about 6" above 2 bb split shots. little carolina rig, that way back, when fishing local ponds I would tear em up. well 33 fish later and a little less skin on my right thumb it turned into a good morning. nothing bigger than 2 lbs. But what a blast. kept it simple used about 20 baits,4 lb. test. fish were holding just off the bottom in about 3 foot water.real slow, but would hit like a freight train. a small train, but none the less.
  23. been using big game for as long as I can remember. also use Ande, found it really last's a long time, cost a little more than big game but some of my combos are used for salt water and Ande seems to work a little better for that. p.s. maxima ultra green is also a great line, super tough.
  24. like Bluebasser86, scatter rap is one of the best for covering water.also flat rap is good.
