  1. I have a MHX 8' flipping stick that I made. extra heavy action. good for 3-6 oz. lures.

  3. I made a new panel out of starboard. works great,looks good also. if I say so myself.
  4. my revo MGX is used mainly for light worm fishing ,love it for the feel. but on the other hand I prefer reels with a little more heft. like my 4600 c3-c4s.
  5. aluminum frame is a must. quick retrieve. most of all, how it fits in your hand.
  6. if you can get get a known boat mechanic to check it out. it will be worth it in the end. always get it checked out. after all it's your money.

  9. TRY A BABY 1- I use one here in my neck of the woods with the same kind of grass. works great. try gold when it's cloudy,overcast. chrome when sunny or a light chop on the water.

  13. graphite,short handle,6'6" older team daiwa Larry Nixon WORMIN/JIG rod soft tip plenty of backbone. perfect for my jerkbait fishing.
  14. no, it's about quality and the location of the bearings that make it smooth.i've got a bunch of old abu black max 1600 that uses only 3 bearings but is as smooth as any of my other newer reels.

  18. all depends where I'm at. Okeechobee can be all over the place in a day or just one end. other lakes the weather has a lot to do with where I'll be. Kissimee chain same thing.might stay on Toho or run all the lakes in the chain. if I'm not getting anything within 30-45 minutes I start moving. been known to burn a tnk in a day with no problem. other days won't burn 5 gallons. but that's fishing,go figure.

  21. have one,love it. great for lighter worms,senkos. also tried flipping with it. works great.
