I've been fishing for over 45 years and have not "hated" any one reel company . just like some more than others. I like ambassadeurs, bass pro reels,lews,daiwa. but the only brand I have now are abu's and ambassadeurs.

open the vent. needs to breathe.you got a good fuel pump to cause a tank to suck in like that.

they have some of the best guides on earth. I was not paid to say that either, just from experience.

for numbers Big-O. for big fish Stick Marsh. Lox for calm, serene fishing. but for me the Stick is the place.

was fishing a night tourney on East Lake Toho and had 2 bass jump the boat when we got around a bunch of schoolies. both were keepers but had to throw em back cause we never hooked em. that was the weirdest thing I saw. caught plenty by the tail, dorsal etc. but never had em just jump in the boat !!!!!!

have all abu's, never had an eon never wanted one.there are collectors that want them for some unknown reason.

1-my dad 2-med heavy casting 7 foot,abu reel. 3-pay attention to what is going on around me.

power pro, all colors. all lb. test up to 30 for all my spinning rods. use a mono or a flouro leader on really clear conditions.

I use a sticky electrical tape that Iv'e been using for my spinning rods for years.the back side is really tacky works great. hardware store is where I get it.

reels I like Abu Swedish reels, older models. rods a mixed bag until few years back when I started making my own. about half of my rods are of my own making. line,trilene big game for mono.power pro for braid.mixed bag for terminal tackle, always tweaking it to try and get it right. that'll never happen!
