use what works for you........the fish don't know or even care what kind of reel you're using.what matters is that you're fishing.

boat, unless you live on the lake it's a pain to fish from the bank.

just had a great day on Aligator lake in central Fl. windy as all get out but they were biting. traps, worms,spinnerbaits. wind beat me up after a long week of work, but I don't care !!!!!!!!!!

at Tenoroc we can put it with any boat but can only use electric, some of the lakes in the chain you can idle with the big motor but no faster.

7-3 rod med heavy, 6.4 gears, 12-15 lb. big game. 1/4-1/2 oz. for bigger traps I go with same setup but 20 lb. big game.

I still have and use my Ambassadeurs with 5.3 gear ratios all the time. 4500,4600 pro max, black max. all older round reels that are at least 20 years old. still catch fish all the time. but have newer Abu's with 6-7 to 1 gears in em and use them for faster baits. each reel is a tool in my boat. use the right tool for the job at hand.

it's always been my go to bait............nothing better.

mepps spinners,johnson silver minnow. still use them today. tomorrow, today i'm working.

do they have any for the 1500c's?

I use one for throwing under boat docks,overhanging limbs,branches etc. spinnbaits,topwater,squarebills.etc. great for pinpoint accuracy.

being a mechanic/machinist, I use Snap-On almost exclusively. also have Hedgehog pullers. they are great for the money plus some others that I made.
