I have seen a lot of EDC pics, but including a comb is a first for me.

I could care less about a gift, trip or whatever. A picture of my wife and I together in a frame with a nice note from her telling me how much I mean to her is more important to me than anything she could buy me. Sometimes all we want is to know we are appreciated and loved. Sorry if that was a little goofy sounding, but for me it is the truth.

I wouldn't cheer for the Pokes or the Shorthorns if they were playing North Korea. I would want both teams to lose. I will never understand rooting for your conference. I want the other teams in the conference to lose so the top recruits will want to come to the team I root for. But I guess for some teams who know they will never experience the success it makes them feel better for their conference to win. Charles Barkley said tonight that there is no way in he** he would ever cheer for bama.

Have any of you ever had any problems with internet tough guys that led to actual violence? I have a guy that harasses me to no end on a hunting website and I am sick of it. I live in Ok and he lives in La, I will be there from Fri through Mon this weekend and I have already offered to meet up and "discuss" our differences. I guess I am just old school, but I wouldn't say anything on the internet that I wouldn't say to someones face. My wife thinks it is stupid but I am ready to beat this guy to a pulp.

Another update. Took it to my guy yesterday. On top of what was already on the claim he said the upper a arms were shot, lower ball joints and cv axles from being driven on the highway in 4wd. He said I would be lucky if my transfer case was still good. He quoted me $1,700 to fix it. I sent the quote to my adjuster and he told me that I was basically dealing with wear and tear items and they probably wouldn't cover it. I went and bought the parts and replaced them today. Good thing I'm mechanically inclined as I saved myself about $1,000. Ready to be done with this and done with Progressive.

Yes, the DA in both counties where he will be charged will put restitution on his bail. Also, I will be taking it in Thursday to my shop to have him get an estimate for me. I will be done with Progressive as soon as this is done. My truck had already been looked at by an agent and the claim rep. called me to tell me my truck had been recovered. I was like, No S+++, ya'll have had it for 4 days.

Well, it's been a little over a week since my truck was recovered. Insurance has been in possession of it since 12-11 till Friday of this week. Basically, I am getting the run around. The guy busted up my head lights, tail lights, and scratched the S+++ out of my truck. He drove it in 4wd and ruined my front tires. Burned holes in my seats, the alignment is shot and battery is dead. The insurance is giving me $465 to "fix" all of this. I would have been better off if he would have totaled it or burned it. I was basically told that they had no idea the condition of my truck before he took it so they had to depreciate the cost of everything. Progressive is who I have my insurance with and the guy told me that this type of situation is only the 2nd he has dealt with in 12 years with them. Really sucks, but life goes on.

I got it back! There was absolutely nothing missing. In fact, he used my credit cards and had put the credit card receipts in the passenger seat. He was pulled over by the OHP about 5 miles from where he was last spotted. He pulled over without incident and when the trooper walked up he said "I stole it". He told him that he got in a fight with his wife and just wanted to get away and had been joy riding. He put a little over 400 miles on. He did smoke in it, which I can't hardly handle, but will figure something out. When I went to get it there was a fresh 30 pack of bud light in the floorboard. I asked the trooper what I should do with it. He said "pour that open one out and drink the rest of them." Pretty crazy, but at leas it's over.

Ok, guys. Update. I normally really dislike Facebook(I don't even have one) because I feel there is more bad than good on there. However, my wife posted it at about 3:30 and within an hour we were contacted by multiple people who had seen it in a town about 20 miles from where I live. The county agencies called me and said that between 3 counties and OHP they have set up a perimeter around the area. He will get caught, not sure if my truck will be in one piece.

Yep. They know who it is. He broke into his cousins house about 1/2 mile away. County Sheriffs were at the house taking a report and he drove by in my truck.

I leave the ignition key in my console and use my remote to unlock it. I guess he broke my window and found the key. He was here 10 min before he left.

I live down a long (1/4 mile) driveway that is a dead end. I have an alarm about 100 yards from my house that goes off when a car drives by it. I was awaken at 3:40 this morning by it and went into the living room to look and saw my truck at the end of the drive. I jumped in my wife's car but couldn't catch up to him. I have him walking down my drive at 330, leaving at 340 and me leaving at 342

I've also taught my son that he doesn't have to let anyone bully him or make fun of him for being in choir or music. I have told him that if it gets to the point where it bothers him, punch them in the nose and don't stop until they give up. I know there are times in my life where someone should have punched me in the nose until I gave up.

There are a lot of great lakes in the area. 45 min more or less is pushing it for a couple of them though, more like an hour puts you in some good fishing. I will only speak of lakes that I have fished. Konawa Lake is a really good lake that is about 60 miles or so away. Really good lake for bass and crappie. Okemah is maybe 65 miles away and probably my favorite lake to fish for bass. Eufala is probably 120 miles away but it is another of my favorites for largemouth and smallmouth. Also a great crappie lake if you like them. Arbuckle lake in Sulphur is probably 80 miles and it holds some giant bass. There are other lakes that are a couple hours or more (McGee Creek, Broken Bow, Atoka, Texoma) that are also good lakes. You would also be about a 6-7 hour trip away from Fork, Sam Rayburn, Conroe, or Toledo Bend. And if you really want to drive a little farther and chase the big ones, Falcon and Amistad are both within 10 hours.
