Exactly, there shouldn't even be a ranking for the first 4-5 weeks. FSU lost 5 games, that W doesn't mean anything at this point.

This is bad for college football. Bama is rewarded for playing a cupcake non-con schedule, not winning their division and not winning a conf championship. What does that tell teams going forward? If Ohio St would have played Akron instead of OU and USC would have played San Diego St instead of ND then they would be in. But, we have been told (lied to) that conf championships and sos are weighed heavily in the committee's decision. That's not what happened this year. We have also been told that wins are more important than losses. But apparently that's not the case either. The system is flawed and until there is an actual legitimate system in place (not a bunch of idiots who decide who gets in) then it will never be right. NCAA Div 1 football is the only sport in which there isn't an actual playoff where you are eliminated by losing and advance by winning.

I guess you don't understand what I am saying. Auburn was ahead of Bama last week, so if there wasn't a conf championship game (what the committee claims is important) then Auburn would have been in. Bama played 1 good SEC team and got beat. Auburn beat Georgia, Bama and only lost by 8 at #1 Clemson. Auburn proved they are better than Bama on the field. Apparantly head to head or conf championship games mean nothing to the committee. There shouldn't even be a ranking system if they are only going to go by who they think is better than who. Likewise, a 2 loss Ohio St team won their conf and got left out and a 2 loss USC team who also won their conf and gets left out. If Bama would have played, they more than likely would have got beat. All I am saying is the committee is a joke!!!

CFP committee is a joke!!!!! They have said all along that a Conf Championship game is important (the reason the Big 12 has one now) but they put Bama in who didn't win A. Their conf. or B. their division. Auburn would have been better off sitting at home. Guess they just had to put 2 SEC teams in there.

Pretty cool topic. I was an athlete in school and thought band/music was for the "nerds". I will admit, I was pretty much an idiot and thought I was cool and those people were dorks. Fast forward 20 years and my son is in the 6th grade. He despises sports and the attitude that the jocks have. He is in choir (and really good) and is in speech and drama. He absolutely loves it and I couldn't be happier for him. He is getting a guitar and keyboard for Christmas because he wants to learn to play. I am going to enroll him in lessons and support him in any way I can.

Really??? My wife is only 30, had a key fob her entire driving life. Once heard/read that people had "interceptors" that they could use if you used you fob to lock your car and they could copy the transmission and later unlock your car and steal it (don't even ask me). So she has been in the habit of taking her keys out of the ignition and using the manual lock since she heard this. I've been an OU fan since I can remember. I was 6 in 1985, I remember The Boz, Holieway (Thompson), Gundy, Jackson, even Moore, Allen, Gregg, then Heupel, White, Bradford, Peterson, Murray, and Mayfield just to name a few. I don't think this team is near as good as teams I have watched in the past. They have dropped the ball many times, but this isn't the team to get it done. IMO, Bama, UG, ND, tOSU, Penn St, Clemson are all above them at this point. I don't care what Iowa St has done since OU, losing to them at home is unexcusible IMO.

I've fished out of both as a co. I would prefer the single all day, every day. When trying to net a fish, move to run the TM or just move to the back when hung up, a SC has always been my choice. I will bundle up, lean over, or even lay down if i need too, LOL.
