Out of control iguanas infesting South Florida
Florida has a lot of problems these days. A local sports radio station does a Florida segment everyday and I am amazed at the stories that come from there. BTW, not saying OK is any better, but we don't have the reptile problems yet.

A.A.A.D.D. ~ Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
I'm only 38 and I cannot wait till the day my OCD goes away and I get distracted easily. I would work my butt off getting all those things done. My wife hates the fact that I have to have everything perfect, but I cannot help it and wish I didn't care lol.

Terrible news
I hate to hear that man. I am not an officer, but I am firefighter and I have experienced high stress situations with individuals in wrecks, fires, etc. The stress of an officer is something I can only imagine. Any routine traffic stop is a potential danger. I have a ton of respect for the men in blue.

NBA playoffs
It will be very interesting to see what LeBron does. I can't imagine him going to a team in the West and having to battle GS and HOU. However, if he does, they may as well do away with the eastern conference. LeBron IS the eastern conference.

Does anyone use a snap swivel on their lines permanently?
Exactly my point. Under normal fishing conditions, when used properly, a snap or snap swivel will not fail. YES, once in a while a fish may bend one, but it shouldn't under normal fishing conditions. SO, I actually was trying to help the OP by saying there are options that he should fish with and have plenty of confidence in. Then we got "well one time at band camp" guys coming in with their story about one fish in their life that broke a snap or swivel. Sorry, I rubbed you guys the wrong way and you had to tell me about the "one" time. I will go back to Everything Else and listen to Big Bill talk about the "one" time he saw Bigfoot.

So, you admit your drag was not set properly. A snap should not fail under normal fishing conditions (where the user does their job) Thanks for admitting it as I knew that was the case.

Learn to set your drag.

Does anyone use a snap swivel on their lines permanently?
Anyone who blames a lost fish on a snap swivel or snap isn't being honest. I have horsed it 30 lb blue cats on a snap swivel. No bass is going to straighten out a snap swivel. I use the KVD duo lock on all my treble hook moving baits.

NBA playoffs
7.6 plus billion people on earth and JR Smith should feel like the number 1 biggest loser. How in the world are you a world class athlete and not know the score of the game? A benching would have sent a message and it's a move I for sure would have made. That was inexcusable. I expect my middle school players to know the score and time on the clock.

Baseball Question for Umpires and Players
Not sure why my phone logs me in as a different username. Strange. Sorry about that.

Baseball Question for Umpires and Players
Once the ball hits the chalk it is fair until it once again touches the ground in foul territory. In this instance the ball started foul and hit the chalk, it is then a fair ball. Even though the ball was in foul territory when it was fielded it had not yet 1. Crossed the bag or 2. Touched the ground back in foul territory. This often happens in softball with a left handed slap hitter because of the spin of the ball.

NBA playoffs
The two best teams have already played. This is like letting the NCAA champion play the NIT champion.

Knife Sharpener
I have a Lansky stone system and a Smith's pull through. I'm still learning how to use the Lansky properly. I always wanted a work sharp but I don't really trust myself not to take half my blade off lol

Baseball Question for Umpires and Players
Great explanation and yes he should have.

Baseball Question for Umpires and Players
The ball started foul and then rolled back into the chalk before it got to third base and was then touched while in fair territory. Fair ball.
-
Baseball Question for Umpires and Players
The ball must cross first or third base in foul territory to be considered foul. In your example the ball was foul until it hit the chalk, this motion made it a fair ball. If the ball was then in the air and fielded by a player it is considered a live ball and in play. I always coach my third basemen to try their best to touch it in foul territory before it gets to the bag on a slow roller as it is a much harder play to make.
