  1. I agree, but my fishing partner refuses to learn one. Since I rarely out fish him when using a leader, I can't say that it makes much difference. The main difference his when we fish rocks and he gets frayed a lot and has to retie.
  2. I had to refresh a lot today as well. I agree about the Lowrance commercial lol But I too think they are doing a great job!
  3. When I started dating my wife her girls were 4,5 and 6. We started out with the flashcards for addition and subtraction and before I knew it they were making me do flashcards over the Disney princesses.
  4. I fished straight yellow 40lb 832 on my casting reel when working a t-rig. Didn't notice any difference between me and my partner on bites.
  5. I would rather listen to the announcers than Greg Hackney's jacket or bibs or whatever it is scratching the mic while he says nothing. LOL Marty Robinson is on FIRE!!!!
  6. Well, I have a lot more going on in my life to be annoyed about, but I would like to be able to watch it as well. I only got to watch a handful of it.
  7. I hear that. If I am in 15 FOW then I am out of my comfort zone. Like I said earlier, I would look for rock or even sand that is next to deep water. However, I also like to throw to deep water with a crankbait, lipless or jerkbait. Bass will feed up and I will try to catch them. Ten years ago, I would fish 3-8 FOW all day, no matter the time of year or conditions.
  8. Maybe he fishes from the bank. Been there myself.
  9. Are we talking about a lipless crankbait or a Bill Lewis? A lipless is one of my go to confidence baits. I will fish it slow, fast, shallow, deep, red, chrome, chartreuse, or any combination. That's what I like about them, I can make 100 casts in a short amount of time and switch if I don't hook up.
  10. Depends on the lake. I'm looking for shallow water next to deep water. But if you don't know the depth then I don't know.
  11. When the sun is out, but it is cold outside, go lay in the grass and then go lay on the rocks. Which is warmer? If I were a fish, that is where I would go.
  12. I don't think either of you are right or wrong. You both make valid points. I like to think of fishermen as stand up guys, especially at the pro level. So I hope for the sake of things they aren't in any way going to attempt to "cheat".
  13. LOL, I know, I was being facetious.
  14. I agree, I bet KVD has already committed to a jerkbait. Thanks! I didn't realize they were fishing 2 rounds, GO ANDY MONTGOMERY!!!!
  15. I went through this similar situation with my guns. I had to take pictures of the gun and a picture of the serial numbers. That's a lot harder to do with fishing gear though. I am afraid if I were to lose everything in a fire, I wouldn't get half as much as all of my stuff would cost to replace.
  16. 6 min left, what should we do???? Take the score tracker down, that sounds like a great idea.
  17. Andy Montgomery with 14 oz?????? Yea, I know. What's keeping someone from sending a text that just says "jerkbait" LOL Stephen Browning has tied Casey Ashley. I wish they would show those guys around the 20th position, well can agree Randy and Ish are on them.
  18. KVD just might lay the smackdown tomorrow.
  19. Randy Howell is putting them in the boat! Roy Hawk sits in 21st with 12-12 right behind Gary Klein at 12-14. Edit - Casey Ashley moves into 20th
  20. 20 Anglers advance today, 20 tomorrow.
  21. I have missed a lot, did all of Andy Montgomery's gear fall overboard?
  22. That has to be tough to police. Guess it is by the honor system and while we would all like to think they are all honest, when this much money is on the line, you never know. Watching Russ Lane is making me tired. LOL
  23. Ish just stuck a good one. I have the volume off. What have they said about the guys fishing tomorrow, can they watch today?
  24. Love Chris Cornell 9.5
