From age 10 to about 14 I didn't know there were any other lures made lol. I say that in jest, but I have caught more fish on an H&H than I have all other baits combined I would guess.

My fault, I thought the Creedmoor and Grendel were similar in ballistics.

I have a 6.5 Creedmoor deer rifle and I love it. Great groups and very little recoil. Ammo prices aren't much different from .223 if you are buying cheap "fun" ammo.

Ok, you guys are right. It's a very competitive league when 28 teams don't even have a chance. Even the finals weren't close. But you got to see 7 all Stars on the court at once and a lot of 3 pointers and dunks. I have my opinion that the league as a whole is weak, if you don't agree that is fine. I didn't say there weren't elite players, but there just aren't many good teams. GS and Cle proved that by the way they blew threw the playoffs.

I'm guessing your much younger than me and you got a trophy just for signing up for Little League. I'm sorry us old timers like to see people compete for titles. You've admitted to being a bandwagon fan, so there isn't much going to change your opinion. Continue to enjoy this watered down league.

LOL, ok. Let me explain to you how weak the NBA is. At this point, there is no clear cut favorite to win the World Series or the Super Bowl. GS is already a 2/3 favorite to win the Ship next year. Pretty close huh?

What a riveting season. GS took that -130 odds from July 5th last year and showed that they were the best. They WILL win it again next year. No need to watch or really even play the games. The NBA is weak.

Just a few more million dollars involved if there is another game. That's all.

To all Little League parents: There is a 100% chance this game (whatever game it may be) isn't going to change the life of you or your child, so please don't act like it will.

Treat everyday as a gift and try your best to make a positive impact on everyone you come into contact with. You never know the impact you may have. Hold doors open for people (not just women) say yes ma'am and yes sir, please and thank you. Give kids a high five and tell them to do good in school and be a good to their parents. SMILE!!! If you are on the internet and enjoy fishing, you have it better than 90% of the population.

The $1 hot dogs and $1 beers on Thursday nights at the Ballpark in Arlington (Globe Life Park blah) are the best I have ever had lol. All kidding aside, we have A&W fast food joints here and their dogs are pretty dang good, followed closely by Sonic.

I am in no way looking to sadden the mood this Memorial Day weekend, but please be safe and hug your kids and tell them you love them. I just found out that a student of mine these past 2 years drowned today at a local lake. He was there to celebrate another students birthday and he went under and did not surface. Before EMS could arrive he was located and CPR was performed till they got there. He was pronounced dead about an hour after he went under. I feel for the family and hope that we all can take a moment and realize how easily things can change. Shane was a great student and an even better kid. He will be missed. RIP buddy.
