Hopefully your insurance takes care of you. I know they say to take pics and document everything you have (which I don't) but maybe you did.

Stories Of Bass Getting Off The Hook!
Lost a good one during a tournament on a LC pointer. Could not keep her down and she got slack line, jumped and was gone. Its fishing, it happens.

Braid!
I always used a uni to uni and spent about 4 hours the other night tying the Alberto and putting it and the uni to uni through some tests. I have now tied the Alberto on all my rods that I have a leader on. I will test it out this weekend, hopefully on a good one.

Line Size And Knots For Light Texas Rigs?
If your fluoro couldn't take a good hard hook set. Your drag was WAY too tight. I have a buddy who tightens his drag all the way down and the first time he tried a leader hr snapped it on the first fish. Its all about give and take and being familiar with your equipment.

Line Size And Knots For Light Texas Rigs?
You should be able to tell when you tie a bad knot. Be it a burn or a knot not cinched properly. I always check every knot and have been known to tie 10 knots before I was satisfied lol

Competitive Spirit
My son is 9 and he moved up to what we call "kid pitch" this year. We live in a small town of 1,500 people and there were 22 boys sign up at this age group. The league coordinator called me and said if I'd I would coach a team then there would be two teams, otherwise they would only have one team of 12. I agreed. He then called me and said they were having a meeting to pick teams. I asked him what time and where. His exact words were "Don't worry, I will take who I want and you can have the rest". Needless to say we are 0-11 and I don't have a boy that has ever pitched a day in his life. Remind you that my son and all the boys on my team have to see these boys on the other team quite often and it isn't pleasant for them. Well the other team is in 4th place out of a 12 team league and their game with us was rained out. They need one win to move into second place based on points and they want to play us tomorrow night. Can you guess what I told them? Can't post it here. Anyway, I am more proud of my group of boys for going out each and every game and giving it their best every time. We had the chance to win about 5 games, we just didn't have the pitching. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat to let these boys know that someone wants them on their team and they can do it.

Transporting A Kayak?
Sorry, I'm just a redneck from Oklahoma. I used to trout fish an area in southern OK and the guys from Dallas would show up in their Volvos and BMW's and look like they were models for LL Bean, therefore we always called them the LL Bean guys.

Line Size And Knots For Light Texas Rigs?
Simply put....failures at the knot are just a case of a poorly tied knot. It has nothing to do with the line. Some lines are just harder to tie a good knot with but it isn't the fault of the line, its the fault of the person tying the knot. Have I had knot failure? You bet. Was it my fault? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Feeling Pressured...
Growing up sucks. Been working since I was 14, be thankful you made it this long. Btw, I'm with dad and mom on this one. Get a job!

Transporting A Kayak?
I apologize upfront. But that looks like the most "jump straight out of the pages of LL Bean" setup that I have ever seen.

What Do You Thinks About 30Lb Suffix 832 Braid?
I threw a 1oz on a 7'2" MH Cumara with a 20 lb Sniper FC leader and had no problem at all. I would probably have preferred to have a H stick, but didn't have mine with me.

The Cruelty Of Catch And Release Fishing
It amazes me that people think fish don't feel pain, but heaven forbid someone's dog dies, then all of the sudden "he was a member of the family"
