Maybe you haven't read what I have previously said. I don't think OU will win the SEC, not for a while anyway. 2nd or 3rd depending on how they align the conference. The fact that they are better than Tennessee is something that can't be argued though. Especially when he is winning!!!!

Maybe. Sure is a lot of "maybe" "could have" "we'll see" in this thread. Bottomline is OU is a better team, no ifs ands or buts about it.

I think the "injured" player should have to sit out the entire drive. It's ridiculous. That one guy from Purdue looked at the sideline and went down. If anything is unsportsmanlike then it's that.

Look at where Texas ranks in recruiting and tell me how well that has worked out for them. You can get a 5 star on campus, but you better be able to coach them up. That clearly isn't happening at Texas.

Well, a win is a win. Defense surprised me in the first half and showed me what I expected in the second. Looking forward to the future. BTW, they won't finish 8th in the SEC for a long time. They may not win it for a long time either. But 8th will not happen for much longer.

I don't like a leader. If I am fishing an area like yours (rocky) I will just fish straight fluoro. No idea what baits you plan to throw, but anything from 12-15 lb seems about right.

I'm afraid that could be the case. It could have been "We're a GREAT team in a mediocre conference with a really good chance to get in the CFP every year" But it will always be "At least we are better than Tennessee"

Miss St was 7-5 and they are TERRIBLE!!!! OU beat Tech like 52-21 or something. But you are right, probably not certain, I just know the middle half of the SEC is not very good. They rely on the same 4-5 teams to carry the conference year in and year out. We always hear how they "beat up on each other", no the bad teams beat up on each other and get destroyed by the top teams. We will have to wait a few years to find out for sure though.

Oh they will beat 90% of the schools, not sure about the top dogs though. Probably average 9-3, 10-2 most years. Interested to see how they align the conference. The pod system seems to be an awesome way to do it.

I use 3/16 oz heads on a 7' M F spinning rod. I usually use 7" power worms or baby brush hogs. I have tried "drop shot" worms with not much success.

I don't want to learn. I feel like I have never missed a fish by "switching hands" when casting, but I just can't see taking a chance on missing one while fumbling with my left hand. If I were 22, maybe, at my age, no way.

Don't overthink it, get the M rod. You have had good success with it and less than good success with the MH. IMO confidence is a major factor in fishing. Fish to your confidence and don't second guess.

LOL, I have told my students that I don't give grades, they earn them, just like cops don't give tickets, people earn them. I told them if I got a bonus for every A I gave, then maybe I would give everyone an A. Until then, you are gonna get what you earn.
