Expride or poison adrena to pair with new vanford
The Metanium would be #1 on my list. Followed by te Bantam MGL. The Poison Adrena is an amazing rod, but I would actually lean toward the Expride because of the action. However, depending on the weight, you may want a little slower action.

Expride or poison adrena to pair with new vanford
I prefer an XG for any of my soft bait presentations where I use the rod to move the bait. Texas rig, jig, ned rig, etc.

7.1:1 gear vs 8.1:1 gear or 30 IPT vs 34 IPT

Curado 70 MGL
I used mine for 1/2 oz jigs around timber with 15 lb tatsu and while I never caught anything over 3 lbs or so on it, it worked great. I have since switched it to a 3/16 oz Texas Rig because it handles it so well. I don't think you will have a problem.

What to expect after draw down?
A million variables at play here. Is this pond 3 acres, 30 acres, 300 acres? River fed, creek fed, run-off? Rising water is usually good in my opinion, but it will have an impact on the spawn if it doesn't get stable before they get ready to go.

What are your favorite Shallow Water Cranks? Brand, Style, Colors?
I vowed not to buy any new baits in 2021 but I sold a reel so I used those funds to order some of the new Spro Hunter 65 Squarebills and they look really good. Only time on the water will tell though. I currently like the Spro fat john, Lucky Craft 1.5, Strike King 1.5 ans Booyah XCS 1.5

Buy tackle
There are a lot of them. I am not sure which ones we can talk about though. Check the sales thread and there are some mentioned there.

Braid breaking at the knot point
I would guess your knot is slipping versus breaking.

Rod for Shimano Stradic 2500
Not the Ci4

Rod for Shimano Stradic 2500
The Stradic weighs 6.7 oz and the Vanford 2500 weighs 6.3, not much difference.

Rod for Shimano Stradic 2500
I would go 7' for shore fishing unless you fish where there are a lot of trees or other obstacles in the way.
-
Rod for Shimano Stradic 2500
I use 15lb Sufix 832 with a M Crucial and with a ML Zodias and I haven't had any issues. I let the drag do the work with spinning reels as I am almost always using them in open water.

Reels for crankbaiits
Can't help you with the Daiwa, but the Bantam MGL is a great reel for cranking.

Chatterbait rod question
Shimano Expride 7'2 MH Glass Moderate action. I throw them with 40# braid. This combo seems to work well with the way I fish.

Rod for Shimano Stradic 2500
I would look at the Shimano Zodias or Expride. I like the Expride's better than the Zodias but they are both really good rods. I would probably go with a MH if it is as weedy as you say, otherwise I would go with a M.

Protect your boat - Mooring/dock tying in waves
So, if you know how to moor your boat like a champ, why don't you just do that? I would pull my boat out as opposed to having to get out in the water, but apparently you are too lazy to do that.

Protect your boat - Mooring/dock tying in waves
Plenty of people with experience have chimed in and you didn't like the replies. BTW, check the other thread where you said you just tie up to the dock. I thought that wasn't an option?

You're joking right?

Show off your Stuff
I would guess $85.99 was a good chunk of change for a reel in 1981. I was only 1 at the time so I don't know for sure
