  1. Spray that baby down with KVD line and lure conditioner. It will purr like a kitten and turn more RPM's than it ever has.
  2. Did Irene get her shots yet?
  3. Awesome!!!!
  4. I have a 36" Blackstone. I use it a lot during warm months. It's great for cooking a large variety of things. I have yet to master hash browns though. LOL
  5. 7,000 yards for a few bucks, must be great stuff.
  6. I would go 30 if you are comfortable with it. I see no benefit to using 20 lb test on a baitcaster.
  7. Have you used 20lb braid on a baitcaster?
  8. It's not just fishing, it's EVERYTHING!!! My parents own a small Mom & Pop grocery store in our little town of 1,600. They are having a hard time keeping the shelves stocked, and it's not because business is booming, rather the lack of supplies.
  9. Awesome fish @Dwight Hottle
  10. https://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/partsorder.php?products_id=1262 You can click on the schematic to choose the replacement parts you need.
  11. Very nice! Congrats!
  12. There are a lot of smallmouth in the southern part of the state. I have caught them in Arbuckle, Murray, Texoma and even Eufaula.

He probably wouldn't want them, but I will buy him some shoes. LOL
  14. I had one. A VERY versatile rod. I liked it for moving baits up to about 1/2 oz and topwaters. It also did great with 3/16 oz Texas rigs. It will do a lot of things well. A joy to fish.

  16. I use one similar to that at the house, really need something for the ramp.
  17. I like this suggestion a lot, I use both. I have had good luck with 14lb Sniper as well.
  18. I was thinking this, or a wheel lock.
  19. I am glad I read this thread. There are a lot of thieving meth heads in the area and 8 times out of 10 I am the only truck and trailer in the parking lot. I have a lock on my hitch, but I don't have a coupler to put a lock on. I will have to do some investigating on what might work.
  20. Some of them can be a real PITA!
  21. I switched to snaps for cranks, jerkbaits, trap, etc. a few years ago and I have no noticed a negative. That being said, before I switched, I was the "why not just tie a knot" guy.
  22. I have the 6'10 H that I use throwing jigs in Heavy cover. Not a bad rod especially if you can get it for a good price. The reel seat isn't my favorite but it's tolerable. I would step up to the Zodias if I were paying full retail for them. I only paid $105 for mine so I feel like it is well worth that.
  23. The knob caps are different as well. Looks like a Tranx handle.
  24. The handle is different on the one posted on the Academy website.
