Baby Rage craw up to 1/4 oz and regular for 3/8 and up. As said its more about claw size as you can trim down the length.

Used to fish for the Slimers in a shallow weedy lake in Pa. Flukes were bait of choice. We would rig them on a 3/0 offset hook with the point in the pocket so totaly weedless. As someone else said seeing that wake charging from 30' away with their back out of the water and them the explosion is very exciting. Caught a 4 pounder last year with a 1.5" 1/16 #8 crappie jig and ultralight.

I like bluegill and other sunfish patterns myself

I fish a jig and craw quite a bit. I never really tried a texas rig, rage rig or jighead with just the craw. Any conditions when one would work better than the other? Thanks

The chirp sound you can barely hear and the rattles sound drowns them out. Solid crank but there are better for less money

Yup, fishing is the only cure. Then you find out you didnt need 90% of the crap you bought.

As Holligan said if the males are shallow, the females should be moving up soon but are probably hanging a little deeper now. I like to place boat shallow and cast a Rattle Trap deeper and drag it up the dropoff. Big spinnerbaits or Carolina rig too.

Yes they cast great on a spinning

I like a heavy spinnerbait 1 oz + with a single big Colorado or Willow blade. Either slow rolled or yo yo along bottom. I have a bunch of old Stanley Titanium that are 1.5-2 oz and vibrate real good.

I would start with a suspending Jerkbait. Squarebill or spinnerbait is next choice. Alot depends on water temp as to what stage of presoawn they are in.

I get them on 3bay for about a buck a piece (without hooks).

I guess at this point I found out what I needed. Was curious what the weights were designated as. I need to buy one of those cheap gram scales.

Good report. It is a quality made bait. Water temp Saturday in Virginia was 45. Tried heavy swimbaits and heavy spinnerbaits in 15-20' with no bites. Rattle trap, and drop shot faired no better. Was marking large schools of what I think were Crappies and could not get them to bite either. No one on the lake I talked to caught a fish. They should have bit but didnt. We had a few warm days so will try tomorrow to try again.

Depend on depth of water and how fast you are moving it. If the 1/8 does down too quick in shallow water try a 1/16 oz jighead or swimbait hook. Dropshot for those would be my first choice though.

Thanks. The current ICON series only goes up to 3/4 oz. I have them in a couple sizes that are I belive are 1.5 or two ounces I think the ICON series used to be called Tuneable Titanium. May be thats what they are. Cant find much info on them

Who made this Titaniun spinnerbait head please? (not the skirt) Blade says Stanley Wedge but not sure its the original. It is about 1 oz or bigger. thanks
