Soft Plastic Recipes
Mot sure what exact color Yammy Baby bass is but Caney/do-it has a really nice x2 baby bass color. Formula would also be very different if salt is added. For baby bass I use watermelon and add some black and then gold hilite. Some 015 gold and 035 black flake.

Making A Bass Spinner
So once again how can we help you? A bass spinnerbait is composed of a few basic componants. To truly make one from scratch you would need to pour hot lead into a mold and bend stainless wire. What I and many do is buy the head/hook/wire assemble already painted. You only need to bend a loop on the one end and add a swivel and blade. A skirt is then either made or bought premade and slipped on.

Hds 7 Gen 2--Downscan ??
Is the "interference" with the trolling motor on or off? Yes wind and current can stir things up and cause the sonar pic to look speckles.

Good job. Looks good in action.

Home Made Flipping Hooks?
I would bend stainless music wire (springs back) and bend it as shown. Put it through hook eye and wrap with braid. Then epoxy the thread. You can get the wire from a hobby shop

Beaver Molds?
The one sided open pour was taken off the Linmar site because it infringed in Reactions very strict patent. Same reason no injection molds are made. Del's did make one but they are very hard to find and very expensive.

Hook Sharpener
Do you just go one direction? I have a Rapala one with a v groove in it and I seem to dull the hooks rather than sharpen LOL. I think it is because I go both ways with it.

Forced Perspective Fish Photos
This is same fish. 24" and 8#. First pic is from camera and second is a vid capture. I did not purposely hold it closer to the cam but you can see how much bigger it looks.

Proper Minn Kota Size For 12'6" Porta-Bote?
Get the highest thrust 12v motor you can. I think they go up to like 52# thrust. Get one of the largest deep cycles you can. Try that and see if you like how long it runs. Add another battery if neccesary. Even with a gas motor you will still need a battery.and probably a trolling motor too

He just gave you a link to a web page for making lures. Did you go there and read up?

Need A Trolling Motor
Maybe I missed it but what motor are you having probs with? What size wire is run to the motor? What battery/batteries? If a Minnkota its probably the circuit board in the head. I bought a MK Maxxum 24/ 70# and am very happy with it. I replaced the 8 ga wire going to it with 4 ga and it made a big difference

Some Wacky Rig Questions
Most likely the fish you are missing are not bass. Bluegills will nearly rip the rod out of your hand when they take off with the bait.

Fish Finder Advice
They make a 3.5" screen? That is like a cell phone LOL. Di does NOT replace standard 2d sonar. It is used with it to figure out what you are really seeing.

I Need Opinions On A Gps/fishfinder Combo
Garmin does not make a unit with downscan or downimagining and if they did it would not work with MK's universal sonar transducer ...Bill

Need Inputs On All Electric Boat
Not sure. They are white and look like a 9.9hp in size. They use alot of batteries and run on high voltage. Probably similar to a golf cart.
