  1. Well mine has probably got no value. Lol. Good questionthe tho. I just walked outside when i saw this thread double checked. 1060hrs. 1996 Johnson 200 venom. Still runs like a champ. Just a little cold natured tho.
  2. Only draw back is that cant fish it in the mats and slop. But i still prefer it when the grass is low enough that it wont get hung. Or open water situations.
  3. Still easy to find, but I still get alot of production off of the ol' Jitterbug in black. Its a lure that has been lost in the shuffle for a long time with alot of the new topwater designs and with the impact that hollowbody frogs. I cant put my finger on it exactly, buy theres alot of times that the bronze eye or LiveTarget cant get it done, then ill put on the jitterbug (on my frog rod) and start getting vicious bites.
  4. When i saw it, it was instant. The head and eyes just screamed NORMAN! Where did you get it?
  5. Sam, was that a quiz question or is it a lure that you found? Its a good bait, if you want shallow with a tight wiggle. I have several of them
  6. It looks like a Bill Norman Thin N.
  7. @bassn blvd- basicly its fried deer meat in the battter and mix as one would do for fried chricken. Thanks for a good laugh @caylub-to my knowledge most southerners call it fried apples but its really apples that are suateed in butter, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnomon for about 20 mins or until the apples are soft. Its freakin yummy!
  8. I was on TW and saw this. Im guessing its new. It looks really neat. I really like craws with curly legs like a grub and the long antenae looks like it will make alot of action. It looks like a good bait. Def gonna try it. http://www.***.com/Berkley_Powerbait_Chigger_Quad/descpage-BPCQ.html
  9. A big 10-4 on the big bowl of grits with pepper. I like putting texas pete on my grits too!
  10. Oh boy that was good! I cooked breakfast for dinner. And we stuffed our selves!! Eggs, grits, biscuts, gravy, bacon, and chicken fried deer meat and fried apples. That meal was so dog-gone good i had to post about it. I was off work today and its snowing, so i kinda had a little extra time on my hands.. Am i the only one that loves breakfast for dinner?
  11. Not a prob Zoff. And if she needs help, i can. Down here in NC, cooking pigs and knowing to fry anying edible is a requirement. Lol
  12. Snake head, bass, striper, crappie...they all fry good. Fish fry for dinner sounds good.
  13. I have two fryers that hook to propane.
  14. Yes. Snakeheads are an invasive species and they threaten the ecosystem.

Good thing, my Panthers are pretty set at linebacker. The state of NC has enough people already that are shortbus material, we dont need anymore
  16. Is powell having problems, or are they going after different pros?
  17. You're right quantum is at the bottom of my list
  18. The Bps crankin stik has a good following. Dont let the four letter word "fast" scare you. Alot of guys that i fish with use them for cranking and they are super satisfied. Hopefully a few guys will chime in that used them before.
  19. Agrees with WW2, (different brands tho).
  20. Mnbassman hit it on the head. Couldnt have said it better. I like a long rod for c rigs and football jigs. And 76 is standard for a flippin and pitchin.
  21. Cant speak for everybody but i throw mine on 8lb mono. 10 is ok too!
  22. Good stuff Tom. Thanks.
  23. Yeah not a prob. Just gotta get things straight with two different workplaces and the slave driver/ wife. But im like you..i like as much time on the water as i can get. Thats why i wanted to go a day early. I hate going to different body of water for a day trip or two days...
  24. Yeah that might be possible too.
  25. Wow. I guess Lintner is done with Powell Rod co.
