  1. My 2 year old son is pretty cool. Its a tie between Thomas the Train and Bill Dance Outdoors. We have over a dozen Thomas Dvds and movies and several Bill Dance videos, its a coin toss which one he will grab. He likes Veggie-Tales too! Dont feel bad, i go work everyday humming the song from Thomas...and i dont mind i kinda like watching Thomas with him. Yakker, you're killing me Smalls!! I love that movie!

Yeah i just reas where JaMarcus Russle is going to attempt a come-back. The story said that he had his weight "down to" 308. He is a Quartberback....not a left tackle. All that robotussin (codein) hes be sippin on has put a belly on him.

    Nothing surprises me anymore.
  4. Good stuff guys. Most important is dont be in a hurry. Slow is the way to go. My work boat is a 21' Carolina Skiff (flat bottom) i hate it when Gaston or Buggs island is rough.. makes for a long slow ride.
  5. Then id say yeah. I would probablyy go with a medium. But ML should do it too. I dont own a st. Croix, but they make dang good rods. Maybe one of the st croix guys here can give a bit better insight which rod theyd prefer based on using them. But on paper ml or m both sound good.
  6. Im contemplating getting a diesel my next go round. (Some time later this year) I love my work truck and the mileage is much better than i would have thought. Any of yyou guys got any input?
  7. i was about to say, you are not getting off that easy!! Im going be pulling my 20ft javelin for 3+hrs. Thats why i pplan on staying longer...gotta get me moneys worth on fuel...and get on some fish before yall get there...lol
  8. Find worms that dont have ANY or a low amouunt of salt. Another trick (as long as water isnt super clear) is to use a heavy mono to help that worm float. I dont really have an answr as to why. But i have found boat dragging a soft plastic and having one withand a littlea bouyancy are efective
  9. No prob. I plan on being there anyway. If it saves a few guys some money and gets a few more people involved im all for it. Any way i can help...
  10. Whenever the date, i plan on going up there on either thursday afternoon or early friday morning. This will give me alot more time on the water. It will just be me, so i am open to sharing my campsite with anyone. I have several tents for anyone who doesnt have one. Just something to think about.
  11. Yeah my phone has it available, i turned it off. Lol i noticed the droid 4 has sliding key pad...ill probably wait for the droid 5. But id rahter spend mymoney on fishing or boat stuff than my phone...sometimes i wish i could get rid of it
  12. I have fat thumbs. Good for my baitcasters bad for touch phones. So i still have my Motorola Droid 2 from 3 years ago. I like that it slides open to a keypad.
  13. I did vote and chose Sept14/15 but any date will do. Its so far off it wont be a problem with work or anything like that.
  14. At work when we always use homemade map books consisting google maps for our local lakes and for every lake or forestry area we go to. But when im breaking down my home lakes for fishinga or one of the ones i go to yearly on fishing trips i study and mark my bbig old school topo maps. Now i will zoom in and print out interesting areas on google pro only after ive studied the old topo. I like the big topo maps. And ill mark them up with little notes and if a certain area is productive or seems it will on a certain season or transitional period, ill then mark and save it on the GPS.
  15. Yeah i was going to a "Body building gym" run by a former body builder. It was great. The only people there were serious into either body building or athletics..and a few who just enjoyed being pushed by serious fitness freaks! But that place shut down and now we all go to the main stream gym here in town... it sucks but soon people will get their tax refunds and will forget all about their gym memberships.
  16. 1/2 oz Jig. Green pumpkin/and a few strands of blue. Craw trailer in either Okeechobee craw or green pumkin. That bait has caught me fish in every season of the year and is almost always tied on or laying in the front deck. Im surprised more people didnt say a jig. Its my go to and my fall back.
  17. See guys ^^roid rage ^^ .. Go easy on the juice bro! Just kidding Raider. Im going through the same thing at gym. It happens every year this time. It will be over soon.
  18. I used to keep my extra in a plasttic tote in my closet, but now with a child in the home, i bought another locking safe, a smaller one but it is locking and that is important to me.
  19. Its really cool that you are doing that. Kudos
  20. LGM Gambler just got a headache. Hey i just got a Stradic FJ a couple weeks ago and that thing is sweeeet.
  21. My wife is pretty good about it. She gets a cell phone upgrade at least once a year, drives a nice car and buys bags, shoes, and expensive ipad and iphone covers. I work two jobs and odd jobs so that we can live comfortably. She understands the sacrifices i have made over the years and doesnt give me too much crap when i buy something... (except for December when i spent well over 850 bucks and didnt tell her and didnt buy her anyything) my wife has an avid pearl that i bought for her, but whens not on the boat that rod gets used!!
