  1. This year for the most part, most my success has been on jigs and t rigs ans some c rigs... Yesterday was a different story. Squarebills 7, chatterbaits6, and I caught three and lost two on a LC 3.5 wake bait. My little fishing buddy caught 10 all on chatterbaits. They just wanted a moving bait.. almost burning speed Yesterday they just wanted a
  2. Powell endurance 712. 150 on the fish ranger. I liked it so much I got two of them.
  3. Add 16 to the list yesterday! Had a huge gar break one of my favorite Bagley B squarebills yesterday. I once a couple years ago got outta my boat and waded to a stump to get in unhung. Caught 7 fish on it yesterday before its demise
  4. 1) I break that rule often, use common sense, can't flip a 4 lber with a ML rod Other are pretty common sense I have broken three BPS rods years ago on the hook set, but I have damaged rods more by stepping on them and slamming a livewell closed on them.
  5. Don't litter, be cautious with burning, recycle when you can, read the labels on any pesticide or herbicide and follow it... Other than that, I feel free to burn my hard earned gas money on my boat and truck. Control the things you can control with out getting crazy.
  6. Caught 3 on a magnum sized wake bait this morn. I try topwater year round, most my bites on topwater come spring thru late fall
  7. Haha I understand that, but when I was 15 I worked on tobacco farms and then on roofs for a while...and to be honest, I was "the help" and I really enjoyed working with them. I thought it was fun to pick up on their language and to learn it. By the time I graduated high school I could speak it effortlessly. I agree with most and that people here in the USA shoulld speak American English
  8. I speak North Carolina and am fluent in Spanish. Once I was standing near some Italians from up north and I could understand alot of what they were saying, the two languages have some similarities. I took Spanish in High school, but I really picked it up and learned it from working with Hispanics both in roofing and in resturants when i was a teenager.
  9. Lattice or extra planks to exclude any gap or even putting up barn doors or a garage door is one thing and I don't judge them for doing it. I don't mind skipping a dock like that because I can't really go under it. But its really the dangerous stuff and the uppity attitudes from home owners that only stay at the home 14 days in a calendar year that peeve me. On the bright side, I've met a lot of remarkable people by fishing their docks ans a lot of then have offered me sodas, beer, invites to parties, and even lunch. I've also met people that have told me exactly where certain pieces of under water cover and hot fishing spots that actually produced! All in all, I've had more good experiences fishing docks than bad, but the bad ones do suck.

Ill sum it up for you, you get what you pay for and make darn sure you try them on. Frog turds had good advice, algae and rubber don't mix.
  11. Great lures. Love them on 1/8-1/4 weighted swimbaiit hooks. Also good on the back end of a jig. They give off a ton of action ans water displacement.
  12. I've seen docks wrapped with chicken wire around the perimeter with a couple large holes in it . I've heard of people running people off from fishing under their docks. Typically if u see large gatherings of people or something like that, ill skip that dock, or ill get back far enough I have to make a long roll cast to the corners and to the front
  13. Its a bait that I love in deep cranking situations. 1oz and 3/4 with a fluke is deadly. I'm tempted to tie some light ones on an A-Rig. I will try that sometime and will report back.
  14. Under a full moon, you can dig a hole but can't refill it with the dirt you took out.... It won't be enough
  15. I have various frog toggs ans Columbia gear ans I'm pretty happy with with. Everybody I know that has Cabelas Guide wear really likes it.
  16. Once again , the wife is right. Never could get into that kinda stuff.
  17. Good stuff dude.
  18. Serious Question- Raider do they make those collars big enough to fit your neck?
