After Catching A Bass
Many, many, many times I have caught multiple bass from the same location. When small mouth fish if somebody has a fish on the other guy puts a cast in just behind the hooked fish and ofter gets another fish on for a double.

Where To Install My On Board Battery Charger?
Put it as close to the batteries as you can. Each inch of wire robs charge and will increase charge time.

How To Sharpen Fish Hooks?
Guys, He says he is broke. I relate to that. Almost any file will sharpen a hook but the smaller the easier it is to use. I go from barb end to the point until sharp. I pich down the barbs so the hook penetrates a tiny bit easier.

How Do You Personally Set Your Drag?
Line guides add a great deal of force. If you don't set the drag with a bent rod you ill be way to heavy.

Football Jigs And Rocks
I don't think football jigs are any less prone to hang up between rocks than any other jig but they are not as apt to wedge in between the rocks so if you get to the other side of the rocks you can usually get them to pop free. If you are shore bound I'd guess a foorball head is as apt to result in a break off as any other head shape.

Issue With Senko Being Literally Swallowed
Glen hit it on the nose. Hooks in fish do not rust away especialy in fresh water. A hook left in a fish equals 1 dead fish. I also think this is an old wives tale probably from salt water. In addition to the line through the gills method I use hooks with the barb pinched down. I've pinched them down for more than 30 years and I don't think my lost fish rate with pinched barbs is any different than with barbed hooks.

Do Bass Bite After It Rains?
Before the rain, during the rain and after the rain. I don't know if they feed during thunder and lightning since I'm gone at the first clap of thunder or sight of a lightning flash.

Flurocarbon Snapping And Knots?
I don't have a problem and 99% of the time I tie 10 or 12 # fluro. Be sure the knot is not twisted and well lubed with water or spit be fore you tighten and pull the knot up slowly.

Do Zebra Mussells Affect Bass Fishing?
I think it is too soon to tell. My biggest concern is the long term affect on plankton so necessary for fish (bass) forage.

What Kind Of Swivels Do I Need?
If you use a double uniknot or a barrel knot you can reel the knot through the tip eye and still cast very well.

Newfound Lake Bristol, Nh (From Shore)
Newfound is tough in the middle of summer, even from a boat. I'd predict you will get skunked but if not you might catch a real good fish.

Best/most Realistic Craw
IMHO the "MadMan" is the most realistic craw I have seen but I have not had much success with it. That could be from not using it much since the first time or two I had it in my tackle.

What Do You Consider A 'good' Cast?
Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. Short, long or in between!

First Baitcaster Reel/rod Setup
I have BC reels from Shimano, Daiwa, Pfleuger, Quantum and Bass Pro and frankly I can't tell a bit of dirrerence. Get what every seems the correct choice to you!

Baitcaster Is Cutting Line
I have used Vanish for years. It is my preferred flouro except for cost and I have had no trouble with it at all.

Bass With Squishy Stomachs- Minnows Or Bluegill?
You just caught a bass it fed on what ever bait you were using. Keep using it until it is not successful then change! Fish have a brain the size of a pea tied to a reasonable sense of self protection. Don't over complicate fishing.

How To Video On Cleaning Largemouth And Smallmouth Bass
On a fishing trip if I can't catch a walleye, pike or crappie for dinner I will occasionally clean a bass for the table. I will have the fish fileted, skinned and in the pan, oven, steamer or on the grill by the time you get the fins off. Mine will have neither bones nor a bunch of scales left in the cooker or in my mouth. I hate to say this but on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being low and 10 great - this video didn't score.

Need Help Expanding My Tackle Box.
Skel.... Where do you fish in MI? I lived in both SW and SE MI and fished many lakes and a few rivers.

Need Help Expanding My Tackle Box.
You have a good start. Knowing where you fish in terms of lake, river or impoundment type as well as water clarity etc. For example where I fish the cover is boulders/rocks with little or no vegatation. Forage varies from baitfish like perch, sunnies and smelt to crawdads. I don't currently even own a frog but if I was fishing a lake that is about 1.5 driving hours south I'd buy some frogs before I fished there in the summer time.

Labor Day Smallmouth Fishing In Michigan
Gun Lake north of Three Rivers has a good population of smallies as does Gull Lake east of Kalamazoo. I think the St. Joe river near Three Rivers has smallies.. There are other area lakes with smallies but I can't think of there names. D&R Sports in Kalamazoo - 269 372 2277 (KVD's & JVD's home base) about a 1/2 hour drive north would be a good source of information as would the Michigan DNR in Plainwell. Brewsters in Three Rivers is a great place to eat.

Foot Pedal For Trolling Motor???
When I had a TM without a foot control I used an extension handle made out of a whiffle ball bat and cut a power line to the TM and put an old fashined foot actuated dimmer switch mounted in a junction box in the circuit for on and off. It seems to me that BPS and Cabelas have switches so you can turn the power off and on with your foot.
