Cracked Kvd 1.5
I had a 1.5 hairline crack down the middle on me. I realized it when it started slowly sinking one cast, due to some water being inside the bait. I almost threw it away, but i chose to keep it and put a special mark on it to keep it separate from the others. I have actually caught several fish on it even after the crack because i can let it slowly sink to a depth deeper than it would usually dive and then retrieve it, or pause it during a normal retrieve and it almost perfectly suspends with a super slow sink. I cant tell any difference in the action even with the water inside. The bait is unique now and produces in a new way so i am not going to complain!

Yum Dinger
I like the dingers just fine for weighted texas rigging, but i have more confidence in the "shimmy" of the GYCB senko for weightless wacky rigging.

Night Bass Fishing
Ive had the best luck night fishing by starting with topwater baits and then moving my way down the water column. Take your pick of topwater lure...ive caught fish with everyone of them at night. A black spinnerbait with a black nickel blade has been killer at times, especially near grass and wood cover. As far as bottom lures go a bulky black/blue or black/red jig, black or junebug 10inch worm, and a shaky head with a black trick worm or black/blue craw have been my best producers.

What Is Your Most Successful Use Style With A Senko? Texas Rigged, Wacky, Texas Rigged Weighted, Other?
Weedless, weightless, wacky...did I say that right? Lol

Used Soft Plastics.
I usually just toss them in a pile on the deck of the boat if im in a hurry. Then I salvage what I can once I get the time.

What Are Your Favorite Bass Baits For This Time Of Year?
The pop-r bite is on here in KY! Typically i dont bring out the spooks till later after the spawn is over. Recently little john square bills, jerkbaits, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and shakey heads have been the ticket. Fish are still being caught on the A-rig though too! Never go fishing without a jig tied on too!

Is The Duckett Ghost Worth The Money?
I purchased one this winter and after using it since late february I have been pleased. My only issue is the clear coat is already cracking and flaking off right where the duckett logo is... And for everyone that is worried about the guides and braid issue, the soluition is simple. Dont buy this rod to use for a braid specific technique! Mine is a 7'6" mh cranking rod that I use for deep cranking so I am always either using fluoro or suffix deep cranking mono. No issues with these lines and the chrome guides.

Spinnerbaits: Trailer Or Not?
When running the spinnerbait through wood cover, i rarely use a trailer and never a trailer hook. However when running weed lines i almost always use a twin tail grub trailer. I feel like the little bit of extra action it provides helps to call the fish out of the weeds.

Frog Colors
Pretty much like everyone else has said, I worry more about the color of the belly of the frog than the back. I've done well on black, white, and chartreuse, with chartreuse being my favorite during the day and black my favorite during low light conditions/night.

Shakey Head- Round Or Football?
We need a neither option because I use the Spot Remover shakey heads which are rounded but completely flat on the bottom.

Do You Shakeyhead On Spinning Or Bc
Always a spinning rod. I feel like the under the rod guides work better with the action imparted during shakey head fishing. And the straight up over the shoulder hook set required to get a good hook in them with a shakey head balances better with a spinning setup.

Favorite Square Bill?
KVD 1.5s usually get the call for me, but lately a Spro Little John has been my top producer.

Duckett Ghost Or Veritas
If you're stuck on using a mh for spinnerbaits I would definitely go with the duckett as I have both. The veritas is just a little too stiff for spinnerbait fishing in my opinion.

Jig Rod That Doubles As A Frog Rod?
I use a 7ft mh veritas spooled with braid for both and it works nicely.

Crankbait Identity Help
I was given a bunch of baits over the weekend and I have been able to identify every one of them but this one. It has no markings anywhere on it and I don't have any other baits like it. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

Favorite Topwater Bait For Early Spring
When water temperatures hit the low to mid 50's early in the spring, what is your most productive topwater lure? I'm thinking something slow moving like a popr or spook instead of a buzzbait would have more success. But the decision between a popr and spook is difficult. What do you guys think?

Thoughts On Micro Guides
I just bought my first micro guide rod this winter and so far i can tell no difference, except for the fact that rod gloves are much more prone to blowing off of them when running down the lake. Lol

Gambler Lures
The only gambler lure I have ever used was the cane toad. I did a side-by-side-by-side test over a week last summer using the cane toad, ribbit frog, and rage toad. I liked the gambler frog better than the ribbit, but the rage toad drew more strikes than either of these

Favorite Lipless Crankbaits
It seems for me that they either want a red eye shad, or an xcalibur one knocker. I will throw a rattle-trap or super spot if I run out of both of these lol.

Lures For This Time Of Year
With those temperatures id be throwing either a jerkbait with subtle twitches and long pauses like RW said, or be chucking the alabama rig. If you get a warm day though dont be scared to move up shallow especially on channel swing rock banks and throw a medium diving crankbait or squarebill. Dont rule out a trap on flats near the main lake at the beginning of creeks either...especially if you can find a little leftover grass.
