Well i put a 2500 ci4 and a 2500 fj on my dropshot rod today...im goin with the ci4. I balanced and felt very nice...cmon christmas gidt cards lol To be honest both felt fantastic and weight difference was negligable in my hand. The handle on the ci4 talked me into it lol

I know i have a jig on deck all year and it is rare that i dont catch atleast one on it...but i also have condition specific stuff on deck as well Right now i have a jig, 6xd, jerkbait and topwater handy

I think the ci4 works better with lighter baits...but not by much

I have both and as good as the ci4 is it is not the best bang for buck compared to the curado i. Is the ci4 the better performer? Yes it is and it should be given the price Is it worth it though? Yes and no. I prefer my ci4 to the curado i, but the curado performs nearly as well for 90bucks less

Ugly stick for sure I used to sell 20 ugly stix before a croix, 50 before a loomis and probably 10-15 before a lughtning rod However in FL i sold a ton of uglt sticks too but i also sold a TON of all star and redbone rods. Id say the ratio was 2 ugly stix to every all star or redbone

Im having this debate right now as well I own a stradic FI 4000 that i put a lot of work on in the Gulf of Mexico chasing snook, reds and trout and it has always bee a flawless performer. I now use it for dropshots as it is my only spinning reel on a 7 ML croix So im torn between a ci4 or a stradic fj 2500 as well lol im leanin toward to fj just to save a few bucks

Guys...look up droplet and contact precautions...thats how it speads It is super lethal...hence why it is a BL4 micro organism. Will it kill us all? No lol...but ill bet my last dollar we see a few more cases It spreads via feces, vomit, saliva, blood, semen, exudate, sweat and mucous.

My fav reel in my line up! I use it for t rigs and jigs mostly. Works great! Thing casts with very little effort, nice a smooth, plenty of power, light and comfy in the hand. Mine is a 7.6 on a 13 ***. Just remember to lube the brake pipe every now and then. I have 2 brakes on and the dial set on 3. Most of what i throw with it is 1/4 to 3/8ths
