Reaction Innovations- Skinny Dipper
great beat dj. i swim mine through the pads weightless. i also will add a small screw in weight and cast it and let sink. then i will reel it back slowly like a crank. they work, just keep trying them.

Why I don't like Ike
if you manage yourself, everything will be fine. some athletes love to showboat--it happens in all sports. when i played football my coach always said "when you get into the end zone, act like you have been there before". i think ike is great for bass fishing and he contributes a lot to the sport and his community. i personally love his antics--i get fired up as well when i catch a good fish in a tourny. i am not going to tell you to grow up, because it is not my place. if you don't like ike, that is your opinion. i like the guy--that cat can flat out fish.

When to set the hook?
x2. Bass often inhale a lure and then spit it out quickly, set the hook before they spit it. Even if you set the hook too early the fish will often get excited and eat it again. x3. Hooksets are free. JR i fish with a guy who says that a lot----hooksets are free! whenever i feel anything out of the ordinary, i whack 'em.

Strike King Rage baits & Coffee Tubes
the frog and the chunk have great action. i had a tourny this past sunday and threw speed worms, hornys, flappin shads, and rage frogs. the rage produced all of my bigger fish. i think the fish wanted a louder frog than the horny. i still love the horny, but on sunday the rage was the king.

what's the skinny
about the titles by our names? i know that if you have over 500 posts, you are considered a "senior member", and some guys have the title "been posting a long time" by their names. the reason i ask is because some guys that have the title "been posting a long time" have been members for less than a year. shouldn't their title be "posts a lot"? i love to get info from the guys on this site, but i always check their profile to see how long they have been a member for. because realistically some guys spend way more time on their computer than they do on the water. just curious.

Flats Boat as a Bass Boat?
also about the slippery part. i believe it is called a textured deck which basically means that it has traction. i never have slipped and i fish barefoot 99% of the time including when it rains.

Flats Boat as a Bass Boat?
i have a 17' pathfinder flats boat. it isa tunnel hull made by hewes. i fish bass tournaments out of it every weekend. my boat has a flat bottom, which means i can get into some skinny water (aka the flats in the everglades). i also do a lot of snook and tarpon fishing as well. the only thing i don't like, is my livewell. i have to use my portable livewell when bass fishing because the livewell on my boat is very small and could never hold 5 decent size bass. storage isn't the best, but i love my boat. my next boat will be the one that mr. welcome has. until i save up some cash, i will be using the one i have. when i fish tourny's, i will lay a couple of rods on the deck, but i am very aware of where they are because i don't want to kick them into the drink.

i have an older one (maybe10-12 years old) got it at walmart and i love it! i broke off about 3 inches and had a new eye put on, but still to this day it comes with me along with my g-loomis', star, and jm from bps. great rod for a cheap cost.

Finally! My first jig fish!
man you better tie on a jig and give it a go. i catch lots of fish, big fish on jigs. if there are pads, jigs work. if there are rocks, jigs work. felled trees jigs work. i think you get the picture.

line winding machine
X1 there has to be a tool that you can attach to a cordless drill that allows you to connect your spinning reel spool and load it with the drill. i have tried many different inventions, but none seem to work. one of the main reasons i use power pro on my spinners is because i can't seem to load mono on without all of that line twist. i hate line twist .

Your favorite high-end jig?
bitsy bugs certainly don't stink, i have caught more bass on a bitsy bug jig than all others i have tried combined. perhaps you should do a little less posting and more fishing and maybe you can find out if they catch fish or not.

trolling motor help
i have a minn kota riptide 55# thrust bow mount trolling motor. it attaches to a mount that i had custom made for my flats boat. my question is: can i replace the 2 screws that screw tight up against my mount? the screws i am referring to are the ones that you tighten down against the mount. if i can replace them, how do i get them off? and how do i replace? thanks in advance.

Sunshine showdown this weekend any predictions?
Over the weekend, I had 3 fishing friends confirm that B.A.S.S. does give a 12" exemption while fishing in Florida. Lame I was watching the weigh-ins live on the internet and I saw a 10 and 11 oz bass brought in by co-anglers. I don't know if I could of swallowed my pride and bring it to the scales. are you kidding me? when the fishing is tough, a 12 inch fish or 10 ounces could mean the difference between winning and losing. cashing a check or going home broke. i will swallow my pride every time when there is money on the line. you must not tournament fish with that statement.
