  1. My favorite is a baby bass GY Senko
  2. Can't wait to see them. I'll be looking for some lighter sizes.
  3. KVD Dreamshot and straight tail roboworms
  4. Yep, try bigcamo.com Have ordered from them before (a rain suit to keep out on the boat), will be ordering from them again....soon. They have shirts, jackets/coats, pants, bibs. They even have some scent-lok gear.
  5. Square bill crankbaits and a dropshot
  6. Placed an order monday for some jigs and a few packs of the ragetail menace. Should be here friday, in time for a tourney on Saturday.
  7. I've got this rod http://www.***.com/Wright__McGill_Skeet_S-Glass_Casting_Rods/descpage-WMSG.html My cousin got it from walmart for something like $20. He didn't want it, just bought it for the price. I gave him $20 for it and have been using it all year. That, with an abu garcia blackmax has been my go to crank bait rod. I have probably caught 100+ fish on it this year, late and smallmouth bass, walleye and pike on it. NO problems what so ever, best $20 I have ever spent on a rod lol.
  8. I know there was a thread on these a while ago, but now that these are "officially" out and more and more people are getting a hold of these I thought we should talk a bit more about them. I got some from Sieberts and TW, but have yet to really get out and use them. How is everyone fishing these?-How are you rigging them? Water Clearity? Shallow/Deep? Anything else you might want to add that might be helpful. My go to fishing technique is usually either crank bait, worms or dropshoting, but I really want to expand into throwing these types of baits so a thread like this will help me a lot.
  9. I'm new to targeting smallmouth, but so far the Strike King KVD Dreamshot both 4 and 5 inch have worked for me. So far green pumpkin has worked the best, followed by KVD magic and candy craw. Picked up a pack of morning dawn as well, but haven't tried them out yet.
  10. Just caught this one today. 3.2 on a dropshot using a green pumpkin KVD dreamshot. I'm just getting into fishing for smallies. Fished Lake St. Clair once this year but didn't catch anything this big. I flipped the dropshot up by a dock, it hit and took off but it spit the hook. I let it sit, but it was windy and the boat was drifting right toward my line. I was going to start reeling in when I seen the fish coming towards the line(only about 10ft of water and it was pretty clear). I layed off the trolling motor and waited, it eventually took the dreamshot again. By that time it was pretty much UNDER the boat. (not a great pic here, my dad is what you would call technologically challenged lol, I had to do some editing because it was too dark)
  11. Keep em comin...I'm getting ready to order some soon and was looking for ideas on what colors to get.
  12. Well I just checked and it looks like my backorder from TW went from 7/10 (yesterday) to 7/22. Hopefully my order from Siebert comes quicker than that, though I haven't received a shipping email from them yet. I'm just too anxious to try these things out lol.
  13. The KVD 1.5 sexy sunfish has been my go to crankbait so far this year. Lost my last one a couple nights ago, got a couple more on the way, along with bluegill and yellow perch
  14. I placed an order a couple days ago with TW for a few packs of these. Most are on backorder (they say until the 10th). Couldn't help but go ahead an place another order with Siebert's just now for some more packs and a few extra things as well. Can't wait. I'll definitely be placing another order with them in the very near future for some jigs. Prepare to take all of my money lol.
  15. Well, not to long after I posted this I was back on TW ordering some of the new Rage Bugs. Just have to wait for them to get in stock.
  16. Spent a lot in the off season stocking up on plastics, but right now my money is going towards crankbaits mostly. Right before reading this thread I placed an order at TW for about a half dozen crank baits.
  17. He shows one on this Tackle Warehouse video they put up last week. He first picks it up around the 1:58 mark...then holds it up at around 2:48
  18. Just in case some haven't heard/read, they now have their new online extended cast basspass system up. They have the first three episodes of this new tourney up so far.
  19. Hello all. i'm a not so new member from Michigan, just west of the city of Flint. I have actually been a member here for almost a year now (Feb. 25th) but this is my first post. I have been reading a lot just learning and soaking everything in. Hopefully I'll be posting a little more. Gotta do something to past the time during this cold, snowy winter.
