A company that REALLY doesn't support Soldiers
We are a free country so while we can disagree with the opinion of that company. We cannot condemn them. Really all they have done is lose some business from the soldiers, and after the story gets out they will probally lose a lot more. Whether or not it is right or wrong for the soldiers to be in iraq. It is not the soldiers fault they are there they are just following orders like all good soldiers do. Matt

north american fishing club
I have just recently become a life member. I think that the magazine that the club sends to its members is informative. The only field test item I have received so far is a filet knife. But so far the club has done alright by me. All you can do is give it a try and see what you think. Matt

The Tuna has had enough!
I can't think of anyone that would want to deal with TO . I was listening to the reports on ESPN today and almost everyone that is close to parcells is saying that up until last evening he was talking about going to the senior bowl and continuing his work. I think something else happened that we don't know about yet. Bill is his own man and not anyone's puppet and that might be the problem. Jerry Jones has been known for sticking his nose into things and situations that his input is not needed or wanted, maybe parcells just had enough of the whole cowboy situation, including TO. Saints Vs. Chicago Bears
I was also rooting for the saints but the bears just played better and they seemed to want it more. Either way the saints had a awsome year and the coach deserves alot of the credit all the way from the basement to the championship game is a real big turn around. How can someone get your email address here?
Yes, I live in Mifflintown in Juniata County and the river goes right thru town. I live just about 3-5 minutes outside of town towards 22-322. I usually wade the river my boat is not built for the river. I do know where you mean down by Duncannon. Sounds like a great place to fish, my pb for the year was a 20 in. smallie did not have a scale so no weight. Let her go, hope she is 21 or 22 in this year and I can get her again. Hey Jim, I agree with replica do not let a few a**holes ruin the whole information sharing thing for you I enjoy reading your posts and have found many of them to be very helpful to me I enjoy fishing for smallies I live very close to the Juniata river and spend a lot of time in the spring, summer fishing for smallies in it. I think that people like me (myself included) can learn some very helpful things from you and others like you who have fished for small mouth for a long time. So please do not stop posting on this site quite a few of us appreciate your knowledge and your willingness to share it. Matt Keep your powder dry and your line wet

BPS vs Cabelas
I am looking to upgrade my rods this year. I have had people locally tell me that both BPS and Cabelas name brand rods are very good for the cost. So now I am putting the question to all of you. Which company had better name brand rods, or is there another company that puts out quality rods that will not put a simple working man into the poor house (or the dog house with his wife). Thank you all in advance for your input in this matter. Matt Keep your powder dry and your line wet.

Family violence, take action.
Hey Jim, I agree with you 100%. As a parent myself I cannot understand why noone stood up for this child before it was to late. I realize that sometimes your childern can push you to the breaking point. The key is what you as an individual do when you reach that point. For myself I walk away from my son when he pushes me that far. It takes a real prince of a guy to hurt a 10 month old baby. The family should have done or said something to the proper people to have avoided this tradgey. The guilt for the incident should be shared by all in that family. All we can hope for now is that God has taken that little baby into heaven and he will have eternal peace now. Matt

Goodbye Bill Cowher

walleye?
I will have to agree with boondocks, I fish for walleyes quite a bit and the majority of my fishing is done in and around weed beds. I usually use rat-l-traps, or erie-dearies with nightcrawlers, baits like that various crankbaits and just about anything that you would fish the weeds for bass with will also catch walleyes, in most of my experiences the walleyes that are in the grass are actively feeding and will hit the baits very hard and fight very well. There has been many occasions where a fish hit my bait and just by the force and power of the strike I was convinced that I had a pike or a nice bass and it turned out to be a walleye. Never overlook the weeds there is almost always walleyes in or around the weeds. Matt
