Would you use this rod for frogging? I just pick this up during the 25% sale they had for 400 I just couldn't pass up and my intend purpose for frogging. Once I received the rod I thought the rod would have more back bone or more stout. My 893c has a thicker diameter but section thats weird and its a MH.

As for sensitivity my list starts with 1st-kistler klx sensitivity as good as my NRX..KLX has the NFC blank 2nd-irod air 3rd-phenix recon-toray blank 4th-***-toray blank These rods are in that price range accept for irod but there really good deals around right now. I pick up the kistler as 1st purchase threw them and got discount under 150, And for the deals going around for irod air also a good choice to look at.

Im going to be honest, this year majority of my fish was caught on my Ml rod with the strike king 1.0. I find that the 1.0 for this rod is the sweet spot, for the weight and size it was perfect. And for sensitivity its insane, you can't go wrong with north fork composite blanks.

I am using a kistler klx 66ml CRT as my dedicated 1.0 sk stick and jr 110's. And have it pair up with core51. It cast the 1.0 and shad raps perfectly. the moderate action feel reminiscent of some of the jdm megabass rods.

As for warranty you want to only order from an authorized megabass dealer in USA. Any jdm or auction site will denied your warranty threw megabass usa. USA warranty 3 years, 1st year free replacement, the 2nd & 3rd must pay 40%

WAOW its open for general public now. i thought high end megabass was suppose to be rare hard to get. whats the point of owning a megabass rod now? Wasnt that the whole point of owning a high end jdm stick so no one else can get one? At least for me

Did anyone ever considered that if you have a boat and store them in the rod locker (24/7) over time in sun or humid whether that heat will deform or weakens the blank? I don't know just my thought
