  1. Strike King has their version. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_Rage_Cut_R_Worm_7pk/descpage-SKRCW.html

  3. A split shot rig with a Zoom 4 in lizard in Chartreuse/Black Flake. I call it my limit getter.
  4. This 17.06 beast was in late February. https://www.fieldandstream.com/fishing/largemouth-bass-lake-record-texas/?utm_campaign=trueanthem_manual&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2yMt9c4IQmnbbi1gxaSuRjHZ5JOj5mO0C-gs7amPC5ZeBjR1N0dp9MJt0
  5. Lite Trout just works. I also agree with Bluegill and Pac Man if you have carp.

  7. My experience with Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo is it has less stretch than mono but more than fluro. To me it's a great solution. I started using it for swimbaits but it is now my cranking line without hesitation.
  8. So I gave my Grandson a pack of these a while back. He recently has been smashing them and is down to one. Did he save the package - no! I have no idea who made them and would appreciate it if anyone has info.
  9. I'm in ! Brown, Black, Brown/Black/Purple. I don't know all of the colors living rubber comes in, but I would love a couple of strands of pink in all of them. Steve
  10. With the ring worm, you can TX rig it through the rings on the side of the worm only, not through the thick part. There is still enough ring to cover the point. High percentage hook-up.
  11. You did OK. Only by using it will you be able to tell the sweet spot on bait weight - my guess would be 2-2.5 oz.
  12. Like MickD said, they are not a popular as they used to be but not sure why. I guess most just tie on a jig. My favorite version is the Cabin Creek Spider Parts where the skirt is separate. Plus it has one thicker tentacle that you use to make the jig weedless. I love mixing the grub/skirt colors!
  13. Nothing over 9 lbs for me this year. These East Texas lakes were stingy. A few surgeries kept me off of the water most of the year. But 2 baits stood out. A custom painted 5" Bluegill Bull Shad by BB needs to go back for a repaint. It got chewed! And a bait I listed last year - the Cabin Creek Spider Parts, in particular The GP grub with the Tennessee Orange skirt. And the Ned rig saved me from a lot of shutouts.
  14. Zoom Trick Worm in Merthiolate. It just works.
  15. Gonna build a 7'4" H rod for flippin' and froggin'. 50# - 65# braid. Need a guide recommendation please. Thanks!
  16. It works for me. Is it durable - not very. If I am fishing for a check and need a kicker, it's tied on. Fun fishing - the cost isn't worth it.
  17. Me as well, but I rig it vertically.
  18. Is there a lot of work involved to use a non AT G2 grip set with the G2 reel seats? Or is it just easier/better to keep it all AT?
  19. I do not. Plenty of action without one.
  20. It will definitely work. I have been using Nate's Custom Baits for almost a year now. Certainly something the fish haven't seen a lot of. https://natescustombaits.com/?fbclid=IwAR1cOYMaHMtBuO1DrJpzHx4gJMK02XSZT8QPCebeUzE6MCyKeLM4K1Bglek
  21. There is no magic retrieve for every day. That bait will get bit on any number of retrieves but only the bass can tell you. I fished Fork 3 straight days and caught fish on the Jr with a different retrieve each day. That being said, a retrieve of 4 med speed cranks followed by 2 twitches and then a 3 - 4 count pause generated the most followers/lookers and the biggest bass over those 3 days.
  22. Mostly for me, but they also work well if they are feeding on shad.
  23. I have had nothing but positive results when buying from them. The shipping costs can be very high though.
