I've said this before. The A-rig was banned in many tournaments for being too effective, & it looks like a wad of coat hangers coming through the water. I believe lure color & presentation matter much more. If I'm fishing a moving bait with braid, I just wait until the rod loads up & do a reel set.

Another vote for the Air Tail Wiggler. You can also put a rattle in the tail. The MegaStrike head is my go to in 3/8 oz.

Sometimes they do make a difference. I use JJ's Magic in Chartreuse & Clear. I've been spanked too many times to not at least keep it in the box just in case.

You will really appreciate it if you have to set the hook with the bait way out there.

I've bought 4 pairs over the years without issue. They are a major discounter of many brands of high end outdoor gear. I went to the Classic shortly after I bought my first pair & took them to the Costa booth. They verified them. I have bought boots & camping gear from them also at great savings. They also discount fishing gear, but unfortunately it's only high end fly fishing. Not saying others have not had issues. Heck, I've had issues with BPS & Cabelas. But I have never received knock-offs. They also sell many different lines of sunglasses - Oakley, Smith, Native Eyewear & others. As big and as long as their presence has been on the web, I am sure the Feds or the manufacturers would have shut them down by now if they were not legit.

If for just a trailer or bottom hopping, the Zoom & Kalin's are perfect. But if I'm swimming it or slow rolling on the bottom, it has to be the Rage Tail.
