wfn has been advertising a show being hosted by a woman. I cant remember the name of it though.

Ive caught plenty of freshwater bass with an ugly stick when i started fishing. Just because its not the best doesnt mean its not a great rod. Obviously most of us take fishing very seriously so we have higher end gear to give us the best advantages. But for a sunday afternoon fisherman the ugly stick is a great rod. I suggest if you already have the proper gear setups, than save it for some who may not fish but youd like to take out on the water, or donate it to a kid to get them into fishing.

casting or spinning?

hell i think senkos are expensive. I would be devastated if i lost a $100 bait. Most of us could own them, but i know id fish it too carefully. I want something i can run through timber and not be worried.

if you dont mind me asking what symptoms do you have? I havent really had flu like symptoms and im starting to think maybe i have a sinus infection as well. Just really dont want to go into the drs office in town to find out

how the heck are you setting the hook? When you tell people you like to fish and then they say they love fishing and proceed to tell you the last time they got out was more than a year ago.

I am the mr. excuses guy, and probably a little bit of the rage guy. Ive never tossed anything but ive been known to yell out some 4 letter words if i lose a fish. The last time i had the flu was probably around 10 years ago as well. Oh man it was terrible. I couldnt eat anything with out getting sick from both ends. I felt like i had to learn how to rewalk afterwards because i spent so much time in bed.

If i ever have a kid, yes for sure. What ever happened to walking off the pain? We didnt have half of the concussions we do now back when we had less protection. Yes football is dangerous but so is walking out the front door. I would love to see a list of all the nfl players suing the nfl right now. I bet most of them are broke, and looking for a handout. They knew the risks when they signed up.

Have you tried different speeds while retrieving cranks? I had great luck the other day burning them.
