I've been using izorline xxx super co-polymer in 12lb and 15lb test for years.But I have had no problems with this line and at a much better price point. I buy it in the big rolls to save extra $... My spinning reel I use braid with Fluorocarbon leader. Tight lines!

I Rage rig all the time with craws and T-rig them......just depends on what presentation the fish are in the mood for.....I do use a different retrieve method, again depends on the mood of the fish..(they tell me what the want)....I use the Moaner Hook..Stroker Weight on my rage rigs.....I will say I like using bigger plastics for T-rigs..like the Gene Larew ..Biffle bug 5"..I don't peg most of the time my T-rigs...I feel I get a better presentation of the bait. If I'm pitching or flipping then yes I will beg the weight.... Master these two rig technique presentations and hang on... Tight lines..

I have two of the Ethos rods and love them...I have more expensive rods but love these ..the difference is I haven't told the the fish what I was using.... I have the BPS Carbonlite as well...good rod.... Tight lines

I've fished with the Orra Sx for a year now and really like them...(I have three)...I was needing to add another jig rig so, I decided to buy the Lews LFS.....my first impression was .... ok....doesn't have the quality feel that the Orra does. (JMO).. The reel doesn't spin as freely as the Orra does....but I'll put it to the test in about a month and find out how it compares....I do like the added speed you get from the higher ratio... thanks for the input... I'm needing a bag to get me from the truck to the boat.... I have a bag/backback that's 23 or 24" long and it's still not big enough so I'm looking for something bigger..

I got an H2O back pack in the spring and I love it..... One thing I found out don't over load it, the shoulder straps are not sewn in very well and had to get mine replaced... Chris

Use the #3 ovals it's a thicker wire....

The 1.0 comes with #4 hooks ..

Size #2 not 2/0 ...... I leave the split rings on that come with the lures...

Upgrade for example #4 to #2... I use the KVD short shank Elite Series 2x.... love them.....have not had any problems with dull hooks.. and fish every weekend 8 months out of the year...... not saying there is not something better, but why change when you have something that produces results!!!! Bought 2 of these back in March when Dicks was running 2 for ($50.00) great buy.......I used the rods all spring/summer/fall and my hook-up ratio went way up.... I think I lost 1 or 2 the whole time I was fishing... Really like the glass rod for baits using trebles... The more you fish with the rod, I think the more you will really like it..... These rods get a bad rap for being heavy....... yes, there a little heavier than graphite rods but not much...I fish with these rods all day long with no problem.... if the rod is too heavy, I suggest working out in the weight room a little more

Hey, Guys Just wondering how many of you buy backup lures before your fishing season starts......? Understanding some of you fish year around.... I fish each weekend from March thru October and end my (off season) cleaning, restocking, and studying for the next season........ I started using glass MH 7' rods for cranking only and it made a big difference in my hook-ups....lost to many fish with graphite rods......I use graphite on everything else...... simple!! no more missed fish..... tight lines guys...........

When I fish with squarebill crankbaits I use mono and a glass rod....I use to use a graphite rod......(not anymore with this set-up) when I changed over, my hook-set ration went way up......the mono along with this rod gives a lot ,so when the fish hits the lure there is a lot of give This gives the fish time to get the bait more in his mouth and keeps you from setting the hook to quick....makes a big difference between just missing and bring the big guy in the boat.....I use FC on other set-ups great line.... P.S.... I always change out my hooks on my crankbaits...use KVD treble hooks.....super sharp.... love them... Tight lines...Guys

I use KVD Triple Grips ....I usually go one size up from whatever the crankbait comes with....It has made a big difference in my hook-ups... and the trebles are very sharp.... I change out all my crankbaits to the better treble hooks.. Tight Lines....guys

Hardly ever eat fish anymore. When I was younger I would eat anything that came out of the water, I guess I ate so much that I got burnt out on it. I just catch and release these days.. Tight Lines Guys
