I like Floroclear lines. Have a number of spools, but ended up using

my Yo-Zuri Hybrid more (since I have many more spools). 600 yard

spools can be found very inexpensively on eBay, fwiw.

For all my t-rigs, I use only YoZuri Hybrid. Low stretch, good abrasion resistance, great knot strength and consistency. I've always used it on my casting setup. I use it on my spinning setup now, too, thanks to the advice of some people on this forum. Previously I used AN40. Great line, and very versatile, but not as tough.   jj

Yes, any other brand of line out there...except maybe Vanish  Depends what you are wanting to try. You could go straight fluoro with something easily managed like InivisX, or something more similar to what you were using like Yozuri Hybrid, or a copolymer like McCoys ("Mean Green"). All would be fine for what you are doing. Sure you'll get a lot of other suggestions...

I use Gamma High Performance Copolymer in Moss Green Color. This is a very strong line & will do what you want it for.

I'm a yhb fanboy and I fish what line I this is best cost not a barrier.  10lb yhb is great for cranks, jerk baits and worms 12 for jigs and 15/20 for swimbaits.

Hi-SEAS Grand Slam has been really good for me.

Anyone tried the new Sufix Advance yet?

I'm a McCoy clear user. 15lb and 17lb for jigs and T Rigs. It's  a super strong line and really limp. It lays nice and straight making bite detection easy.  Knots tie very well too. It's the most issue free line I have ever used.

There are several good ones.  Pick one you like.  I spooled some 10# Floroclear on a casting reel last February before heading to Florida on my yearly visit.  Broke (too easily) a time or two the first time out with it.  I had a couple spare reels with me in my tackle bag so I changed reels right away.  Haven't tried it since.  Maybe I got a bad spool.

I use a lot of AN40, but also have McCoy Mean Green and Izorline XXX that I am trying.  Have some CX and CXX to try, but not spooled yet.

I use to use P line fluroclear exclusively until it kept breaking on me in a tournament.  I switche to yozuri hybrid.  IMO it’s a lot softer than gamma and suffix.

I bought some Yozuri hybrid 15 lb, we'll see how it works in the future. Thanks for the suggestions :)

If you don't like it,  don't write off YZH completely.   I use Yo Zuri Hybrid, but I don't use 15 anymore...it's just too stiff.  12 is as high as I'll go.  I highly recommend KVD Line conditioner with all YZH.

MCCOYS EXTRA CLEAR

Silver Thread AN40 17 lb is what I use for worm/jig. 3000 yard spool is $40.

+1 ... Also Yo-Zuri Hybrid line could be added to the mix.

Silverthread Excalibur, in 10 & 12lb (for cranks & spinnerbaits, & pitching) , or Izorline XXX copolymer in 6 & 8 lb (for all plastics) been using Excalibur for around 25 years, and just started using Izorline XXX last year, with great results.

I buy both in bulk spools.
