2009 The Pennants are flying and the Trash is almost in view!
If I had a couple of people to ride with me, I would probably go down to Atlanta on Thursday for the game. But I'm done traveling for at least another two weeks.

What are your fishing STRENGTHS?
Oh yeah, I'm better at that than finding small fish.

Wife...and yes, it's a rant.
;D I'll remember this when I get older. I'm only dating girls now, and I already realize this. Then you need to start dating different girls.

Finding little fish.

Got a new toy...
Don't need another. Humminbird sells a Second Station kit which includes another base and a trolling motor transducer. All I have to do is move the head unit in order to have a graph at the console.

Can you identify this grass?
Definitely not hydrilla. I was thinking milfoil, but chara seems to be the likeliest answer.

Can you identify this grass?
http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/chara.htm Looks similar, but different. :-? I wish I could have gotten a better photo. I drug a big clump of it into the boat and decided to take a photo. Left the camera out of the case after snapping a photo and the lens got fogged up.

- Can you identify this grass?
The stuff doesn't have any odor. Found most of it today in places that were dry last year. 8-12 FOW.- Burley's Random Photo of the Day - Pride of the Southland Edition

This subject isn't a laughing matter. :-X- The Dinkmaster Lives!
Don is the Yoda to my Skywalker. 8-)- Can you identify this grass?
My home lake is usually pretty barren of vegetation due to an overpopulation of grass carp (water supply lake, guess they want no weeds). But today I found more grass than I've ever seen in three years of fishing the place. Tons and tons of this stuff. I'm no biologist and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. Unless it's bermuda, bent or fescue, I'm lost when it comes to grass. And yes, I do know how to use Google...- Got a new toy...
Color is a whole new world. After spending the last three years looking at small monochrome graphs, I feel like I've been reborn. Plus I now know that my top speed is 2 MPH with the trolling motor. ;D Got a second base installed at the console, so I'm no longer blind when running down the lake. Must nicer than spending more $$ on another graph.- The Dinkmaster Lives!
After spending the last few months being busy, I finally decided to start fishing again. After working last night, I downed a 5 Hour Energy and hit the lake this morning. Twas a cold morning for the first day of June (50*), but at least I was on the water. Caught three on a carolina-rigged Rage Lizard, three on a jig. Missed three or four more on the lizard. d**n I love jerking steel through a fish's lip.- Being lucky enough to live near Guntersville
I can be there in 6 hours if you have an open back seat. - Can you identify this grass?
