  1. Huh? :-? Rock = strong return = darker color Log = weaker return = lighter color If you're using a color graph, it's pretty easy to tell the difference between stumps/logs/brush and rock. To the OP, take a look at the Humminbird 586c. Yes, color does matter.
  2. Is theft a part of your daily routine?
  3. If said book is unwanted, all you have to do is write RETURN TO SENDER on the box and put it back in your mailbox.
  4. Titty pink Zulu rigged wacky on a 5/0 treble hook.
  5. They are pricey, but the hook is most likely a bit to blame for that. Other than the stout hook, I can't see any reason for them to cost as much as they do. I bought a few before I went to Guntersville the last time. Fished one alongside a Buckeye Mop Jig. The Mop Jig produced while the Hack Attack didn't.
  6. The KVD Tour is a good one. The 7'4 or 7'10 would fit the bill nicely. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest the 7'6 Wright & McGill Tessera Swimbait/Carolina Rig rod. I haven't used it, but given it's rating and listed action, it should be a great deep crankbait rod. I'm still searching for one locally.
  7. Needs a rattle.
  8. If there is any difference, I would be shocked.
  9. Glad to hear it Jimmy!
  10. slap a Daiwa Alpha Ito on that rod and you could say its perfect for the job..... Nah, Citica 200E.
  11. Yep. No reason to mess with perfection. I had a bad experience using acetone as cleaning agent, I accidentally spilled some on our formal dining table and it made a permanent marking on the finish. Another one is the splatter marks on my study/work table finish from the splatter of break cleaning agent. These are some of the reason why I go for goo gone. But the main reason is that those acetone, carb and brake cleaners freeze and cooked up my skin everytime my hands gets in contact with them. Then don't let the chemicals come into contact with your skin. : Or, try using those chemicals outside or in the garage. : That would work too. I guess ****** is as ****** does.
  12. Somewhere in the archives there is a thread about me getting nekkid to retrieve a Heddon Lucky 13.

  14. With bearings, all you need is a pair of forceps. http://www.amazon.com/Cole-Parmer-Adson-Dressing-Forceps-Dissecting-grade/dp/B003NUWSE0/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&s=industrial&qid=1278527385&sr=8-30

  16. The Tuesday night (only been going for three weeks) TVA rodeo is very well run. The M-W-F rodeos, not so well run. I never knew what was going on when I fished the Friday nighters. Some nights I'm the shoe, some nights I'm the cat turd.
  17. Wife and I hit the lake last night to fish the Tuesday night rodeo on Boone Lake. Her first tourney. We spaced the fish out evening. First keeper came after 10 minutes, second came two hours in, third came 10 minutes before weigh-in. Ended up with 8.67 lbs with a 5.25 lb. biggun. Was good enough to take all the money. I've been sworn to secrecy as to who caught the fish.
  18. I don't think that's too hard to believe.
  19. The Spinnerbait/Worm rod is a fine Bandit 200/300 rod. Does pretty darn well with a 3/8-1/2 oz. spinnerbait as well. If I can find a 7'6 locally, I'm going to grab one.
  20. I can haz grape drank??

I've watched the fight about 10 times now and noticed one glaring thing. Carwin was gassed three minutes into the first round. He didn't even try to get in any offense in the second. Then again, referencing the statement I quoted above, little wonder.
  22. Exactly. It is a typical Apple product. And that's all I'll say about that.
