I have heard good reports about the Nucli-Eye. I just purchased an Optronics OPFL300L LED light. It is cordless but also has a 12V plug. Will try it this weekend to see if it's worth a chit. It is pretty small and light, has UV on the outside, red and white on the inside. Supposed to run 8 hours on one charge.

Sorry Burley, but this incident has nothing to do with anyone being a yankee. There is wildlife and plenty of rural land up north too! I've lived all over the place, and been in the Army with people from every state and island you can think of and I know for a fact that there are idiots everywhere, they are not all born and bred up north! People who are completely ignorant and clueless as to why these creatures are referred to as "WILDlife" should stay in the city, whether that city is Boston or Atlanta makes no difference. The cost of treating and delivering that water is increasing. Think that $4/gal. gas is just hurting you? If the cost of treatment/delivery increases, that increase must be passed on to the customers.

If I were buying now, I would go with a Humminbird 787c2. 797si if you want to spend $1k.

I started to drill them out, but didn't have time nor a bit long enough. As it is I barely got the front two pushed out. They must have been almost touching the hull. I did scratch up the fiberglass a bit, but it's an old junky boat anyway. I just wish the rest of the gel coat looked as good as what was under the old TM mount.
