Do you change yours on a regular basis? I removed my TM from the boat today, had been on there for at least 15 years. The isolator bolts had dry rotted and made removal a royal PITA. Ended up having to cut three of them with a reciprocating saw. That experience made me think I should change the things every 4-5 years.

Well, Jimzee did all the catching. It was nice to at least be able to land a big fish though. :-/ As for the hat, I'm hoping to reverse my mojo with that thing. Since I bought that white UT hat, I haven't caught a d**n thing.

DINNER! DESERT! Fenton Glass Company in Williamstown, WV That ended up being a bowl. A beautiful $400 bowl. The wife spent 2 hours in there. Worse than me in BPS. The Ohio River Cabela's in Wheeling, WV The taxidermy displays at Cabela's are simply amazing. I think I spent more time looking at them than browsing the fishing and hunting sections. There had to be around 300 carp there, the biggest around 30 lbs. Happy Campers! Jimzee hard at work! ;D

Happens any time you combine city slickers with wildlife. Once saw a car full of yankees jump a fence in Cades Cove and pose within 10' of a 12 point buck. While the deer in CC are pretty tame, that thing didn't care for those people at all. Also saw another car load of yankees try to get close to a decent sized bear in CC. At the resort marina last week, I was making small talk with the gal at the counter, she told me that she gets a constant stream of 'are there fish in the lake' questions from city slickers. :-?

Don't waste your money on kits. Buy a package of Owner 5102-131 hooks and a package of Berkley 7" Power Worms and just fish.
