  1. Big gun, big deer?
  2. Good way to put five in the boat before midnight.
  3. If only it were possible for both teams to lose.
  4. Hmmm..... Nope. Cubs? I only love them 43.76% of the time.
  5. The yellow blank Lamiglas would be your best bet.
  6. Just look for BL...
  7. Nanotechnology! Above and beyond!
  8. Welcome to the club. You get used to it after a while. :-/
  9. Do I have to pay for the gas to get there?
  10. That rod isn't all that heavy. It's good for shallow and medium cranks, but you can't get enough distance for the deep divers.
  11. I used 15 lb. Trilene flouro with the Cumara, it was quite nice. I'm using 14 lb. Lucky Craft mono currently on the Carrot. Yesterday I could feel a jig ticking every limb on the way down. I fished the Cumara for 3 months, it never produced that sort of sensitivity. It was a good rod, but IMNSPO, the Carrot blows it out of the water. I wanted to like the Cumara, but the Carrot stole my heart.
  12. You must have been holding your mouth wrong on the Premier. Your replacement has been nothing but great.
  13. My experience is similar. My first few times out with a Premier had me scratching my head. After a couple of months I've come to be quite fond of the mag brake. It is certainly different than that of the Daiwa reels I have used/owned in the past. IMNSPO, Garcia hit a friggin' grand slam. The more I use the S and Premier, the more I like them. Perhaps it is a bit of the 'new' factor, that little bit of 'strange' that Shimano doesn't offer.
  14. The only 'bad' press is concerning the SX. The S is a great reel, the STX is a great reel, the Premier is a great reel. The S is just as good as your so-called 'best value' Citica. I should know, I own 6 Citicas. How many Revo S's do YOU own? Or Citicas for that matter. :-X All show and very little go? My my... : The bottom line is that there is a reason Shimano is releasing new models this summer. That reason is the Revo. Abu has kicked Shimano's rear-end all over the place in the last 1.5 years. Why spend your time poo-poo'ing the Revo? It ain't hurting you.
  15. Sensitivity and weight.
  16. 2 dozen won't be enough. My last (and only) trip there, when the bass decided not to bite, I broke out the crawlers and went through 2 dozen worms in 3 hours. Tons of good bluegill and crappie in there.
  17. So where are all the individual reports/photos? Too late I guess...
  18. I'll turn you into a Dinkmaster yet. ;D When you gonna let me hire you as a guide for a day up there?
  19. It's times like these we miss Dom and his trolling motor expertise the most.
  20. To the right of the bow light plug. I have mine there and it isn't in the way, easy to see.
  21. is it supple and soft or what? Very soft, very little memory. It has been on the Premier since 5/21, applied KVD when I filled the reel. I've thrown it quite a bit, still no memory to speak of. It's definitely a premium mono with premium characteristics.
