  1. CXX in 4, 6 and 8 are fine on spinning tackle.
  2. Too much trouble to use. I have a hard enough time remembering to tie my shoes, much less spray something on my reels.
  3. Yeah, mono on spinning gear can cause headaches. :'( He uses 8 lb. Pline on it (not sure if it's CX or CXX). I use 6-8 lb. Berkley Vanish or 100% Flouro and haven't had near the issues he has with my spinning gear. I needed to put new line on one of my spinning reels and forgot to do it the night before and started to do it on the way to the lake Saturday with some of his Pline, glad I didn't after listening to him cuss it all day. Actually I have 8 lb. Trilene 100% on both of my Stradics.
  4. Having spent the better part of the last two tournaments throwing a 3" Gulp minnow and a 4" finesse worm, I remember why I never carry spinning tackle. Line twist sucks, spinning reels suck, spinning rods suck. There is at least one additional Core in my future.
  5. You'd might as well throw your gift card in the trash. That's what you'll be doing with the cheap reel when you get frustrated after your 20th backlash.
  6. It was a windy, wet ride back to the ramp.
  7. Not the best at the $150 price point, but better than some.
  8. Can't say I understand the reason for mounting the GPS puck in that manner. :-?
  9. Only bite I got yesterday. Good enough for 5th place. Another guy in the club pulled this dink in... Well, anyone care to venture a guess?
  10. I don't know how anyone can stand to wear those uncomfortable things.
  11. Two of the instances sure to make my blood boil. Life is to Short..no sense in adding to it.. You just added to my rage. Too, not to
  12. Comedy Central inserted additional bleeps before airing the show. Matt & Trey had received death threats.
  13. For that motor, the best place for you to use is Brown's Point.
  14. No difference between the 10 and 12 showings.
  15. Clay Travis said it better than I could. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/04/21/roger-goodell-nfls-solomon-attempts-to-split-the-baby/#cntnt

  17. As I said above, poor clothing choices aren't exclusive to the hillbillies. I have often seen someone I know in a courthouse wearing clothes that I would have never imagined that they owned. People who can usually be seen in dirty work clothes, yet have the respect to show up before a judge wearing their Sunday best. While growing up, I remember hating funerals because it meant I had to 'dress up'. Granted my memory of such events isn't the best, but I don't recall seeing T-shirts & jeans at funerals. I attended two funerals two weeks ago and saw a great deal of jeans/T-shirts.
  18. Of/have, accept/except, brake/break...I could go on all night.
  19. Been to a court room lately LM? Laziness isn't exclusive to the internet world. My last trip to a court room was rather eye-opening. When did it become acceptable to go to court and wear jeans, T-shirts, shorts, etc.? Wow, that is not acceptable in a court room that is in Virginia and near the Tennessee and West Virginia border? ;D I would have figured you guys go in there with overalls, no shirt under, barefoot, and with chew. I've never been to court without wearing, at the very least, a tie. Poor clothing choices aren't exclusive to the southern Appalachian region.
  20. I see misspellings today where I've never seen them before, in newspapers, magazines, even street signs. Roger And each time I get increasingly disgusted. The number of mispelled words in the two local newsrags I read has increased at an exponential rate over the last 15 years. I was always told to never start a sentence with "and". Acceptable at times.
