I had a Supreme 8035. It lasted two trips. The reels I'm using are a Stradic 2500FH and a 2500FI. Bail is always closed by hand. I filled a spare spool with 20/6 PowerPro earlier this week, going to give it a try over the next few weeks.

I highly doubt a 4" senko weighs 3/8 oz, which casts fine on a Zillion or any decent baitcaster - even my Bpro Extreme. Then I suggest you weigh a 4" stickbait and get back to us.

Just sweep the rod to the side. If the rod is at 11, 12 or 1, just sweep the rod horizontally to set the hook. When C-rigging, I always keep the rod perpendicular to my belt buckle.

The absolute worst thing you could do with a C-rig. Stand with the rod perpendicular to your belt buckle and pointing at 12. Keep rod perpendicular and sweep to either 4 or 8 slowly. As rod returns to 12, pick up slack line with reel.

First fish is 2.98, second is 6.12.

I wasn't dropshotting. Haven't done that in a long time. Even when it was the only thing I threw, I barely had any problems with twist.

More bearings does not a great reel make. As stated above, quality bearings in the right places make a great reel.

Having used both, the Mach III is not as good as the Fusion.

What is the diameter of 10 lb. mono? Or 12 lb? There is no standard.

CX is great on spinning tackle. 8 lb CX is usually all I use. Decided to try fluoro this spring.
