I Hate When People Write In Cursive...
I think it's just a generational thing, my parents always write in cursive because that's how they were taught, somewhere along the line cursive was dropped.

St Croix Rods
The foregrip is actually my favorite part of the avid handle, I find myself holding the rod above the reel using the fore grip the majority of the time I ise it, different strokes I guess

Which Rod Should I Use For Buzzbaits?

Spinnerbait / Chatterbait New Setup - Help/opinions
I use a ALX deputy for 3/8 chatterbaits with a trailer, usually a rage tail shell cracker or menace, and I ise a kistler helium 3 light medium heavy for 3/8 and 1/2 oz spinet baits. Both are rated fast but they have a slower taper than what I consider fast ( I use st croix as a benchmark as that is what I'm used to). I love both rods but if I had to chose one if choose the deputy, it's te most versatile rod I own. I also agree with the tatula, it's not just a great reel for the price, it's just a phenomenal reel

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
The north shore is a strange and mysterious place. I grew up in roslindale then moved to westwood in high school. I don't think I ever went to the north shore until I got a job up here. I've been doing pretty well up here, not sure if the fishing is better or if I've gotten better at fishing.

New Reel, What To Do With It?
I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to sales at dicks, seems like every store is different. I just got lucky someone mislabeled the reel

New Reel, What To Do With It?
Went to dicks today to grab a few things, and started playing with the reels they had. Some one must have messed up because I saw an abu garcia C3 5500 listed as 29.99. On top of that it was 75% off, so I walked out with a new C3 for $7.50. Question is now what should I use it for, I don't do much deep cranking but I was thinking either swimbaits or for saltwater.

Sunline Vs Seaguar
Braid - after switch between pp, 832, and sunline fx2 I like 832 the best Mono- so many choices (esp if you count copolys in this category) and there's so many that do a good job, I tend to use suffix siege because it's pretty cheap and does a good job Fluoro- haven't used it enough to have a preference.

Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Went out for a few hours after work. Lost one a couple feet from the bank, looked like a good sized bass. Nothing for about an hour after that, then I pulled in the biggest perch I've ever caught and a good bass prob around 3.5lb

Why is it that you can/can't?

Tatula Love It
The tatula has the same braking as the zillion, but I think the adjustment knob has 20 settings instead of 10. Either way it's a great reel, I prefer it to the zillion.

Need Some Life & Career Advice
I'm 24, I work full time and just started school full time. Right now it's pretty manageable for me, but my job is pretty flexible and allows me the time to do school/hw. you mentioned that you do a lot of OT, if you go to school full time I wouldn't count on OT for extra cash. Trade school especially through a union sounds like a good option too. I know a lot of union guys that do very well for themselves, I also know some who have a hard time getting work. Off hand I don't know many college grads that don't have jobs, but that doesn't mean they're better off than the union workers. Whatever you do just make sure you're fully committed to it, otherwise it will just be a big waste of time and money.

Good day for squarebills. Went out with my cousin and his girlfriend and between the 3 of us we got about 20 fish, almost all of them on squarebills.
