  1. Right now I use a 7' ml for drop shots and weightless trick worms. I have a pflueger size 30 (I think) on it spooled with 6lb flouro no complaints here.
  2. The gooseberry trick worm has been one of my go to lures this year. Every time I go to dicks I buy a few bags to stock up.
  3. St croix premier 7' ml, love mine for drop shots
  4. I would expect fishing to be pretty good in September, I was catching them through October last year
  5. What kind of hooks are y'all using with these toads
  6. I fish buckmaster pond a lot too, usually take my dog there when I go visit my mother. Never caught anything big out of there but most of the time I'll catch a few dinks, decent trout fishing too. I'll have to give the lipless a shot, normally I get them on a drop shot occasionally a black and blue chatterbait
  7. I use braid for frogs, 12 pound mono for anything with a treble hook
  8. Smart, I was flipping out when I couldn't get in my car, I just wanted to go fishing.
  9. How would you open your doors if you ran it through the windows? You can't, I did that when I first got my kayak. For now I use the foam blocks and they're pretty solid, not to worried about scratching my 98 corolla, but I'll be getting a rack for next season.
  10. Wow you stole that combo, you're gonna love it I use the same rod to throw all my plastics both weightless and with up to a 1/4 oz weight
  11. I use the 6:1 regular tatula
  12. Right now I'm using an ALX deputy (7'1" mh). It does the job well, and objectively speaking it is a great rod, but it doesn't have "it" for me.
  13. Lead isn't an option here in MA, I don't mind using the bullet weights because I rarely break one off, but tungsten jigs hurt every time I break one off.
  14. Looks awesome, I just hope it's not an arm and a leg to get it
  15. I have a 6' triumph light that I use for lobbing power bait, I think the rod you're looking at would be a great choice
  16. Thanks for your input, went to bass pro today to check it out. Ended up getting a saragosa, I really like the egg shaped knobs shimano uses over the cabos t handle.
  17. Got a nice bass out of stump today, only got the one though
  18. What do you think of a cabo 40 on a 9 ft med rod. Right now I have a stardic 6000 but it seems too big for the rod
  19. The only bass I've ever caught on a lipless crank was my pb, catch a lot of pickerel on it too
  20. If you have some way off the bank take it to any of the first 3 Also don't just limit yourself to those 4 bodies of water, usually I just cruise around until I find a place to pull over and find access.
  21. I use the 6'8" mxf avid spinning for 4" senkos, don't know if there's any difference between the spinning and casting.
  22. I feel the same, I can stand but I hardly ever feel the need to. And it is a real pain to put on the car sometimes
  23. St croix avid 6'8" mxf is my favorite that I've used. I've got my eyes on the 6'6" mh legend elite tho
  24. I don't think I've ever held the rod in the middle of the handle, so it doesn't really matter to me.
  25. Try to find one cheap on craigslist
