  1. I got 2 of the smallest sized ones, both of mine do that as well
  2. I'm looking for a new spinning reel and the cabelas verano piqued my interest. Anyone use/have one, what are your thoughts on it?
  3. Practically speaking I think 2 kayaks would be better, however I would probably go for the canoe. Some of my most memorable fishing trips are out of the old canoe
  4. When I take my nephew with me I throw a rage lobster on a circle hook for him. This way I don't have to worry about him missing fish or gut hooking them. That way he can just keep casting and reeling without much worry
  5. I've been using size #1 owner bait hooks with no complaints.
  6. I've been using a st croix ml fast a lot this year. Use it mostly for drop shots and weightless trick worms.
  7. What size mouse do you have. I have the smallest one but prefer to use frogs instead. The mouse seems to fill up with water a lot faster than my spro frogs
  8. I got a 5wt fly rod for trout, caught more sunnies than anything else on it.
  9. Went surf fishing for about 20 min before I got slammed by a mini hurricane. Then driving back all the roads in winthrop were flooded and I flooded my engine. Good day.......
  10. I use foam blocks, although I wish I had a roof rack
  11. I have that rod and I love it for any plastic weightless or with a 1/4oz weight.
  12. I love stump pond, yesterday was my first trip out there this year. I was glad to see the weeds weren't too bad. Last time I was out there was last august/September and it was like paddling through salad
  13. Hit stump pond in westborough today. Got 4 good sized bass, and a bunch of hits on the frog
  14. Managed 4 bass today. All around the 16-17 inch mark. I swear I'll get this picture thing down eventually
  15. Go on a hunt for musky, don't forget about stripers too
  16. Hit the Charles in west Roxbury today, got nothing not even a sniff. I've been getting good numbers off the drop shot this year but I'm still waiting for my lunker
  17. If it's berkley pro braid don't even touch it, not sure about their other braids
  18. I've been using a at croix premier 7 ml for drop shots, love it. I use it a lot for finese/trick worms too
  19. For the prize this month I'll offer up a dredge kit from siebert outdoors
  20. Is there anything you can single out that makes it feel awkward. Length maybe? If it's a baitcaster do you have your tension and brakes set right?
  21. I used to fish the senko a lot more, but for some reason this year I'm really digging the zoom trick worm in goose berry, and purple (forget the actual name) roboworms especially on the drop shot
  22. Got one small bass Sunday at massapoag, and a few sunnies in needham.
  23. Just take a pic of you fish next to the measuring device, post it up. Longest 5 fish wins it I'm in even tho I'm stilling figuring out the best way to measure from my kayak
