Daiwa Arid 100H
I see this is already answered. I 100 percent agree with the old Exceler. You will save half the money and litterally have a much better reel. I honestly cant believe the Aird ever made it onto the market. It is a total disappointment. I gave the ones I once had to a friend.

Does Your Dog Go Fishing With You?
I have two pitbulls that have fished with me since they were pups. They are fairly lazy but really enjoy being on the water. They have been in the bass boat in the drive way many times since I got it but this will be there first year not in a jon boat so I am expecting them to love the room and comfortable seats.

Frogging/flipping Rod
I use A different rod for each of these applications. But If I was limited to one I would look for something 7' 6" and H/F

Do You Fish The Solunar Tables?
I am a strong believer in the Farmers Almanac's Calender. I really do notice a difference and usually have alot of success.

Daiwa T3 Ballistic
A few inches per handle turn and the Handle. The Knobs are also different I believe. The 8.1 has the classic tire tread Daiwa knobs while the others have the smooth knobs.

Reel Maintenence: Perfect Solution Warning
This is correct^^^ Some plastics are not made to handle chemicals and others are. The bottle it comes in is made of a plastic with a high chemical resistance. The container you were using may have had a lower rating on this scale or may not have been on the scale at all. But if it was a low resistance rating a rise in temperature could have been the reaseon it took so long to eat its way through. Some plastics on the lower end of the scale have a very limited tolerance and a temp increase can just push it out of range of resistance. I hope that makes sense.

1 Lure You Have No Confidence In...
This is tricky because I really try to experiment fairly hard with lures I have not had the best of luck with. Usually try to fish them till I figure them out. But mid size swimbaits are something I have only thrown a few times and dont remember catching anything on them. So this year I am going to try and stick with them for a week or so and see what I can figure out.

Do You Catch A Lot Or 1-2
I would call a day of only 1-2 bass a disappointing day. I usually say I got stumped in that situation. I like to catch atleast 10 If I am fishing major reservoir. If I am fishing a pond or lake I grew up fishing, nothing over 25 acres I hope to catch 20-30 with several 3+ pounders.

Primitive Weapons
I bought one of these last year and have an absolute blast with it. It is really easy to pick up also. I just throw it into my bow target. My neighbors surely wonder what type of person moved in next door.

If You Only Had One Topwater...

What Y'all Cut Your Braid With?
Anyone using Karate to cut thier braid? I hear it works well

Daiwa T3 Ballistic
I agree. The Z200 was also much heavier than most anglers prefer. It was a solid reel but at the price and the weight a better value could be found.

Fishing Shoes For Wearing In The Boat?
I use Zeko when it is nice out and Daiwa DS 3100 when it is nasty and like them both.

7'3 Heavy To Light Of A Rod For A Small A Rig
I use a 7' 3" EX H/F Cielo. It hasnt seen water yet but it handled a 3 Arm A rig with 1/4 Jig heads and Money Minnows perfectly in the back yard.

Jig Vs. T-Rig
As for the T-rig/Jig I usually have both both tied on because the T-Rig is my safety net. If the fish are barley hitting the Jig I will switch to the T-Rig because I tend to land more because they seem to hold on longer. I believe it has something to do with the softness of the bait verses the heavy head they may be feeling.

Problems
Oh man I have 99 problems and buying to much darn bait is 1! This year especially.

1/2 Oz Jigs To Large To Fish With?
I would find something else in this situation. I wouldnt use anything that catches dead vegetation. I would opt for a Carolina rig If my lake was full o f stuff like that.

Lessons You've Learned The Hard Way!
Hard lesson #1 for me is asking an unexperienced fisherman to do anything. Sounds harsh but isnt meant to be. I took a friend fishing one time and hooked into a hawg. I got it to the boat and I know it was beigger than my current PB. It had to be right at or over 10#. When I yelled get the net he looked down, got excited and grabbed the line and pulled. Fish was gone. Needless to say I told him our day was over and headed towards the truck and started loading up gear. On my way back to the boat to grab the tackle bags he shut the tailgate and I heard something rattle. When I turned around I believe there were 5 tips from my rods dangling on the fishing line. Longest ride home over!

Early Spring Bite
Jig and pig, Sus. Jerk bait, T-rigged Crature baits(beaver, beast, boss), chatterbaits and squarebills.

1/2 Oz Jigs To Large To Fish With?
Another baseline 1/2 user here. Will adjust weight and trailer size with comditions. I have caught 4-5" fish on on 10" Powerbait worms so bait size desnt really matter all of the time. Catching dinks on a 1/2 jig just shows you how in touch you are with your inner jig fisherman.

Fishing Seat Vs Butt Seat
I use a butt seat. Use it like a leaning post and it doesnt get in the way of casting/setting hooks. It usually doesnt get put on deck untill I feel like I could us a little break.
