Without a doubt get the 7. I love mine.

I use a Plano Elite 3607 Spinnerbait Organizer in a backpack.

I believe they are out of business and the ones still available that I can find aren't 3/4 oz.

I recently saw an article on the internet about a 3/4 oz compact spinnerbait but can't remember the company that makes it. Is anyone familiar with this bait. It may be new, Any help is appreciated.

I use the length of the rod from the tip to the reel.

Spool it with braid and change the leader as needed and you have the best of all worlds.

The TP is worth every penny more.

On the rare times I do tie a leader - I always use a uni to uni knot. It is very strong no matter what the difference in line sizes.

It's entirely personal preference.

I use mostly 3/4 oz and a few 1/2 oz.

I am sure the bass will bite a shad bait even if there aren't any shad.

I have used them and also Big Bite Baits Craw Worm - I found no difference in the bite but the Big Bites are much more cost effective.

6-7 days a week - any where from 2 hours to about 6 or 7. The water is in my backyard so that makes it easier.

None of the stores in Miami, not even Bass pro carry it anymore either.
